Who Will Win The Premier League Golden Boot For The 2021/22 Season?

Published

on

Premier League Golden Boot For The 2021/22 Season- There has been an intense race for the golden boot in the Premier League this season. Mohammed Salah is currently in pole position to win the race. He has already scored 22 goals so far this season. Son Heung Min is in the second position with 19 goals and Cristiano Ronaldo is also in the contention with 18 goals.

Here is the list of the contenders for the Premier League Golden Boot For The 2021/22 Season

Mohamed Salah: (Liverpool)

Mohamed Salah has scored 22 goals in 34 matches. Liverpool will play against Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Southampton and Wolves in their next four matches. Mohamed Salah will mostly start in the remaining matches for the Reds. Liverpool is just one point behind Manchester City and the title race might go till the last game week of the season. Mohammed Salah has been in great form this season and he is certainly eyeing winning the golden boot.

Son Heung Min: (Tottenham Hotspur)

Son Heung Min has been the talisman for Tottenham Hotspur this season. He has been phenomenal under the management of Antonio Conte. The partnership between him and Harry Kane is the reason why Tottenham Hotspur are still in the top four race despite a few problems in the side. Tottenham Hotspur will face Liverpool, Arsenal, Burnley and Norwich City in the next four matches. Son Heung Min has already scored 19 goals this season. The fixture difficulty of Heung Min Son is higher than Mohammed Salah. However, Tottenham Hotspur is currently at the fifth position in the league table behind Arsenal. If Spurs have to get into the top four, Heung Min Son will certainly have to overperform.

Cristiano Ronaldo: (Manchester United)

Cristiano Ronaldo is also another contender for the golden boot this season. He has also scored 18 goals so far. However, Manchester United have played two extra matches. So, Cristiano Ronaldo has two fewer matches than others to challenge for the Golden Boot. It has been an awful season for Manchester United. They are at the 6th position in the league table. They can only have a few positives from this season and Cristiano Ronaldo’s performance will certainly be one of those takeaways for them.

Diogo Jota: (Liverpool)

Diogo Jota has started the season really well for the Reds. However, after the arrival of Diaz, the game time of Diogo Jota has reduced significantly. Diogo Jota has scored 15 goals so far. He can finish the season on a high and match the tally of Mohammed Salah. However, it is looking quite unlikely at this point in time for Liverpool.

Who Will Eventually Win The Premier League Golden Boot For The 2021/22 Season?

As of now, Mohammed Salah is the hot favourite to win the golden boot race. The main threat for him could be Son Heung Min at this point in time. The others will have to work really harder to get into that position. The end of the season is certainly going to be interesting as the league winner is not decided yet and the top four race is also going till the last game week.

Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has won the Premier League Player Of The Season award. He has beaten Liverpool’s Mo Salah and Tottenham’s Son Heung-min to win the award. The Belgian playmaker has a total of 15 goals to his name in 29 appearances this season. He has also provided a further seven assists for his teammates, which has helped his team win some crucial matches. This made him a really strong contender and he has eventually won the award, as confirmed now.

De Bruyne had last won this award in the 2019/20 campaign, with Ruben Dias winning it last season. It means that Pep Guardiola’s players have now won this award three consecutive years in a row.

Can The Premier League Player Of The Season Inspire Manchester City To The League Title?

The Premier League title race between Manchester City and Liverpool will go down to the wire. One team will win it and the other will lose it on the final day of the season. With that being said, the fans will be hoping that the Premier League Player Of The Season can help the Cityzens win the title. He has been an inspiration to them over the past few years and will want to continue to do so.

It is always prestigious to win an individual award like the Player Of The Season. However, nothing can match the joy that a player gets when he or she wins the league. With that being said, the entire Manchester City squad along with manager Pep Guardiola will be focused on winning that last game of the season against Aston Villa and lifting yet another league title.

Liverpool has not given up on the league, despite winning the two domestic cups and being in the final of the Champions League. Let’s see whether the Premier League’s Player Of The Season can inspire his side to win yet another league title at the weekend or does Mo Salah and co. make it count when it really matters.

FC Barcelona Agrees A Five-Year Contract With Brazilian Forward

Published

Raphinha deal done!! Barcelona has begun the process to build for the future at the start of a brand new era under the leadership of Xavi. They believe that the time is now to provide the manager with all that he needs to compete at the highest level on multiple fronts. With Champions League football secured for the Blaugrana, The club will be working to now identify the right set of players who can help the bridge that gap between them and their bitter rivals Real Madrid, while also being able to compete with the rest of Europe in the elite competition.

With earlier reports linking the club with a sensational move for the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, it has now been revealed that the Catalan club has made a massive breakthrough in acquiring one of its primary targets. it has been reported that the club has agreed to a 5-year deal with Leeds United attacker Raphinha. The Brazilian has been one of the clubs leading lights in a prayer glum season for the club, scoring 10 times and assisting thrice for the Yorkshire club.

Raphinha has been a dynamic attacker, comfortable on either side, and has been attracting a lot of interest from a host of clubs, with Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and others keeping a close eye on his situation at the club.

The Latest Update Regarding The Deal Between Barcelona And Leeds United For Raphinha

With Barcelona facing a summer of mass exodus, Raphinha will be a great addition to the squad, because he fits the bill of what Xavi wants as a player: fast, direct, and good with the ball s well as without it. He has elevated his game over the past few months, emerging to be one of the key players in the Brazil squad as well. With a release clause of €25m, it is not a huge amount, and with the player also preferring a move to Spain, it was not much of a problem to agree to personal terms with the player. It all depends on when the club will activate the release clause of the player.

With Barcelona getting a player who is yet to hit his prime and also has a host of young talent in their ranks, all the signs are pointing towards their rebuild getting started in the right way. If they somehow manage to get their finances in order, this could be a spectacular summer for the Catalan giants. Xavi has been very clear in his requirements for the team in the coming season, and if he is given what he wants, he can surely make a statement with the club next season.

Will Raphinha be a great signing for the Blaugrana, and most importantly, will he be that piece that has been missing to complete the Barcelona jigsaw?. We shall soon find out.

West Ham Vs Manchester City; David Moyes’ Men Give Liverpool Slight Hope

West Ham Vs Manchester City Review- Just when Manchester City thought that their part to yet another Premier League title would be smooth, David Moyes and co. had other ideas. There was one last resurgent fight left in the Londoners, who wanted all three points for a totally different reason. Though neither got more than a single point on the night, it was a fair result to say the least.

The West Ham vs Manchester City game ended in a 2-2 stalemate, with most of it being end-to-end. The match was a fun-fest for the fans, who would have hoped for a winner right till the end. The hosts took the lead and added two goals to their name before the visitors and reigning champs tried to complete the perfect comeback, to move one step closer to yet another league title.

The Key Incidents From The West Ham Vs Manchester City Match That Eventually Ended The Game In A Draw

The West Ham vs Manchester City produced a lot of moments of brilliance. However, both sides eventually cancelled each other out and there was no clear winner. The game kicked off when Gerard Bowen scored the opener in the 25th minute, followed by his second goal just at the stroke of half-time.

Though the Hammers were not the dominant side out of the two, their 2-goal lead seemed untouchable initially. As half-time approached, Manchester City had all the hard work to do. Pep Guardiola had wet eyes, as the first period came to a close.

With that being said, the Spaniard gave the right kind of team talk that was needed. When City returned to the pitch, they controlled the game in every aspect. First, Jack Grealish, who was having yet another good game, scored four minutes after the restart. To add to that, an own-goal by Vladimir Coufal in the 69th minute gave West Ham some nervy feet.

Further, Riyad Mahrez had the perfect chance to kill off the game from the penalty spot. Dawson caught Gabriel Jesus and referee Anthony Taylor pointed to the spot. However, the Algerian could not beat Lukas Fabianski, who did his job. The save was made and a point was stolen too. It was the final game at the London Stadium possibly for West Ham skipper Mark Noble.

The West Ham vs Manchester City game had everything. Great goals, great defending at times, an own goal and the silly error or two, which got the fans buzzing. West Ham secured European football, while Manchester City has a four-point lead over the Reds, who have a match in hand. What a brilliant game!!
