Vinicius Jr. agrees to delay talks of a new contract until the summer

Real Madrid News: Los Blancos have found a gem in the Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior. But the Spanish giants are worried as other elite clubs want to snap up the youngster.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side is on top of the LaLiga table with 46 points from 20 league games in the season. Apart from Sevilla, no other club looks like it could challenge them for the title this season.

The 34-time Spanish champions are on the top courtesy of their astonishing attack. The duo of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior have notched up 25 of the 41 goals that Real Madrid have scored this season.

Real Madrid are being linked to some big names in the summer transfer window. Courtesy of this, some elite European clubs are trying to target Vinicius and other young Real Madrid players.

Vinicius Jr. will wait until the end of the season

Real Madrid News: Vinicius Jr. agrees to delay talks of a new contract until the summer

As per Marca, Real Madrid have been given a huge respite in Vinicius’ situation. The report states that the Brazilian is willing to negotiate with Real Madrid after the season ends.

Vinicius Jr has been one of the most important players for Real Madrid this season. The Brazilian has scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in all competitions this season. Owing to his form, Carlo Ancelotti has preferred him in place of Eden Hazard in the starting XI.

The Brazilian winger’s current deal expires in 2024. Owing to this, a few European clubs are said to be interested in Vinicius in the summer. Hence, this has caused some concern among the Real Madrid fans.

But as per the latest news, talks of a contract renewal have begun with the player. Real Madrid reportedly want to hold proper talks after the season ends. And Vinicius Jr. and his representatives are fine with this.

As per reports, Vinicius Jr earns around €3.2 million per season. The Brazilian has asked for a salary hike which would boost his income to more than €4 million annually.

A big summer ahead of Los Blancos

Real Madrid are gearing up a big summer in terms of signings. This is also one of the reasons why Los Blancos have held off the contract talks with Vinicius until the end of the current season.

Club president Florentino Perez has promised the fans that there will be big signings in the summer. The duo of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe have already made their mark at a young age. And as per reports, the duo could be headed to Real Madrid in the summer.

Apart from them, there are also rumors about Real Madrid signing a central defender. Antonio Rudiger is currently being linked as the favorite for the position. It has to be seen which of these players would be wearing the whites of Real Madrid next season.

Eden Hazard wants to stay until the summer

Real Madrid Transfer News: Los Blancos are reportedly willing to let Eden Hazard leave in January. But as per the latest reports, the Belgian wants to wait until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side is coming fresh off winning the Spanish Super Cup last week. The trio of Karim Benzema, Rodrygo, and Vinicius proved pivotal in the tournament as they had a say in all 5 goals that Real Madrid scored.

Karim Benzema and Vinicius especially have reached a new level of understanding this season. The duo have a combined total of 29 goals in LaLiga and 7 goals in the UEFA Champions League.

Owing to this, the likes of Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, Luka Jovic, and others have found it tough to break into the starting XI. Hence there have been rumors of these mentioned players leaving in January.

Real Madrid Transfer News: Eden Hazard wants to stay until the summer

As per Marca, Eden Hazard wants to stay at the club till the summer. The Belgian has reportedly made his stance clear even though Real Madrid wants to see him leave in January.

Former manager Zinedine Zidane wanted to bring Hazard to Madrid. Owing to this, Real Madrid paid Chelsea £89 million in transfer fees to sign Eden Hazard in 2019. But the transfer has been a major flop for both the club and the player.

Frequent injuries have made sure that Eden Hazard did not even get a chance to replicate the magic from his Chelsea days. The Belgian has just played 59 games and has scored 5 goals since joining the Spanish giants in 2019.

The appointment of Carlo Ancelotti as the manager has restricted Eden Hazard even further. The Italian prefers to start Vinicius over Hazard on the left wing. And given the Brazilian’s form, Ancelotti would not even consider benching Vinicius for now.

Owing to this, Eden Hazard has just made 13 LaLiga appearances. In these, only 6 were in the starting XI. The Belgian has also failed to score a single goal in LaLiga this season.

The Belgian was part of the Supercopa de Espana squad that won recently. But he didn’t get to play a single minute in the campaign. Hazard was visibly sad while receiving the medals and was hardly seen celebrating with the squad.

There are no suitors for Hazard currently

Real Madrid Transfer News: As per reports, Eden Hazard does not want to unsettle his family in January with sudden plans to move. Hence he wants to wait until the summer so that he can plan and decide in the meantime. Also, Hazard is employed with Real Madrid until 2024 hence there won’t be much change in his transfer value if he waits another six months.

Chelsea and Newcastle United were reportedly interested a couple of months back. But both the clubs have shifted their focus for now. Hence it looks likely that Eden Hazard will have another 6 months ahead of him in Spain.

Arsenal reportedly have recognized Youri Tielemans as their primary transfer target in the summer. The Gunners will reportedly make an initial bid of £60m for the Belgian when the transfer window opens in June.

As per reports, the Gunners have been interested in Youri Tielemans for a long time. But they have stepped up their interest in the last few months after news broke out that the Belgian is looking to leave the Foxes.

Mikel Arteta is in need of a creative central midfielder who could dictate play. Currently, Arsenal use Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka in their midfield, but the duo is primarily defensive. Hence, adding Tielemans would add another dynamic to their play.

Real Madrid also want the Belgian playmaker

As stated earlier, Real Madrid have recently been linked with Youri Tielemans. The Spanish Giants reportedly see the Belgian to lead the midfield in the coming seasons.

Both Toni Kroos and Luka Modric have been invaluable to the Spanish Giants. But given their age, the duo may not be able to deliver at the same levels in the upcoming seasons. Hence, Florentino Perez is reportedly targeting Tielemans to bolster his midfield as the club looks to return to their glory days.
