Today the horse racing action comes both over jumps on the flat, with the meetings from Perth, Warwick and Kilbeggan all over the hurdles and fences, with the remaining three meetings from Beverley, Tipperary and Chelmsford coming on the flat turf and all-weather tracks. Here are our Thursday horse racing tips and bets.

The three meetings from Perth, Warwick and Beverley all get underway in the afternoon, with the Tipperary, Chelmsford and Kilbeggan meetings beginning in the late afternoon and running into the evening. The first race sets off at 1.00pm at Perth, with the last race of the day on getting underway at 7.37pm at Chelmsford.

Our NAP of the day comes in the opening race at Warwick this afternoon, where we have selected Mortlach to win this 2m3f Maiden Hurdle.

Paddy Brennan takes the reigns for trainer Fergal O’Brien here today. This 7-year-old has a win and four placed finishes in his last five outings, and is looking to continue that fine form with a first win over the hurdles, after a promising first run over the jumps last time out at Southwell.

Mortlach is a consistent sort and we believe he will be too strong for the rest of the field.

NEXT BEST – WEST TO THE BRIDGE @ 3/1 with Bet UK – 2.40 Perth

Our Next Best bet of the day comes in the fourth race of the afternoon at Perth, where we have sided with West To The Bridge to win for Dan and Harry Skelton.

Coming into this race off the back of four straight wins, this 9-year-old is in some fine form and looks to be the pick of the field here. He is more than capable of claiming yet another win, provided he doesn’t mind the slightly different ground which we don’t think he will.

Today the horse racing action comes on both the flat turf and over the jumps too, with four meetings from England and one from across the border in Wales. Here are our Tuesday horse racing tips and bets across every meeting.

After a win for our Next Best selection yesterday, we are back in search of more winners in today’s racing all around the UK and Ireland.

The meetings from Sedgefield, Beverley and Chepstow all get underway in the early afternoon. Meanwhile the remaining two meetings from Newcastle and Lingfield get underway in the late afternoon/early evening and run through the night. The first race sets off at 1.00pm at Sedgefield, with the last race of the day on getting underway at 8.30pm at Newcastle.

Our NAP of the day comes in this Class 6 Handicap over the eight furlong trip at Beverley, where we have sided with Elixsoft to come out on top.

This 7-year-old mare won easily on Saturday at Nottingham after going clear and comfortably fending off any competitors in a race over the same trip as today’s task. Elixsoft has escaped a penalty so will run off the same mark as she did at the weekend.

Elixsoft certainly has leading claims here today and most certainly looks like the horse to beat if she can repeat the form she showed at the weekend.

NEXT BEST – CUSACK @ 11/4 with LiveScore Bet – 6.00 Newcastle

Our Next Best bet of the day comes in the second race at Newcastle where we have selected Cusack to win for trainer David Thompson and jockey Connor Beasley.

Boasts some fine form, with two third places, a second place and two wins in his last six runs. This 7-year-old has done really well for this yard, including a C&D win. He returns to this 1m2f42y trip on the all-weather surface, which should really play into Cusack‘s favour.

Should go really well and here at SportsLens we fully expect Cusack to triumph here.

Chambard for Charlie Deutsch and Venetia Williams looks like a seriously impressive horse and the one to beat here, hence why we have selected the 10-year-old as our NAP of the day.

With four wins in his last six chasing starts, with two second place finishes in the races he didn’t triumph in, Chambard boasts some excellent form and looks to be the pick of the paddock here.

Won on his last outing as a 40/1 outsider to win by two-and-a-half lengths, beating the likes of Mister Coffee, Fakir D’alene and Cat Tiger. Our big fancy for Wednesday afternoon here.

NEXT BEST – TECHNOLOGICAL @ 7/2 with Bet UK – 4.40 Kempton

After an impressive display just nine days ago at Exeter, we have gone with Technological to make it back-to-back wins for Milton Harris.

Last time out he finally found his maiden hurdle victory, winning impressive by almost four lengths and winning with relative ease.

We think Technological has what it takes to make it two wins on the trot over hurdles, with the Harris yard in good form with a current 31% strike rate for the past two weeks to add to our reasoning.
