Naby Keita is linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Barcelona and many other big clubs from different leagues.

There is no certainty about the new contract of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. There are still 18 months to go on his contract, but Liverpool has not initiated any talks to renew his contract. James Milner also has not made any final decision to stay with the team or not.

Thiago Alcântara and Jordan Henderson are both over 30, and Liverpool will not give them a lucrative deal to stay with the club. There is a lot of confusion regarding the midfield of the Reds. Jurgen Klopp has not given his confirmation on a lot of players to date. 

If in the summer transfer window, Keïta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Milner are set to depart, then Liverpool will need two new players in their squad. The players who are already on the bench are enough, but they are not regularly making their appearances for the team.

According to the interest of Liverpool, Jude Bellingham can be their first signing. The 18-year-old English player is currently signed to Borussia Dortmund. He can prove a good investment for the Reds next year. His teammate Earling Haaland is also getting linked with a move to Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp will have to talk to the Anfield management to pump in a huge amount of money to get both the players in red color. It will be interesting to see how Liverpool will strategize their summer transfer list.

The January transfer window is in its first week. Liverpool has made headlines by confirming two departures already. These two names were part of their youth prospectus.

Morgan Boyes and Tony Gallagher will be departing the club soon and have signed new deals with two different clubs. Boyes will be moving to Livingston and Gallacher, the Scottish youngster will be joining St Johnstone. There is no official announcement on the amount and their salaries with their new clubs.

The move came out as a surprise for Liverpool fans as Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s boss, is always interested in signing young players. The Reds have always given preferences to their youth academy in the past. Another surprise move by Klopp was to propose a deal with Barcelona for a swap deal, confirming the amount of £188.25m.

According to reports of Catalan publication EL Nacional, Klopp has expressed his interest in Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembélé. The deal will be made in exchange for Naby Keita. Keita is currently out of action for Liverpool as he is on national duty and playing for AFCON.
