Real Madrid’s Isco reportedly signed agreement with arch-rivals?

Barcelona Transfer News: It is considered taboo by many if a Real Madrid player moves to Barcelona and vice versa. But as per reports, midfield magician Isco might be making the jump in the summer.

Real Madrid are in the midst of a wonderful season under Carlo Ancelotti. The Los Blancos are coming fresh off a 3-2 extra-time win against their hated rivals in the Spanish Super Cup Semi-finals.

Los Blancos took the lead courtesy of Vinicius but Barcelona’s Luuk De Jong equalized in the 41st minute. Karim Benzema again got the lead for the Whites before Ansu Fati scored to send the tie to extra time.

Finally, a Fede Valverde goal in the 98th minute turned out to be the final nail in Barcelona’s coffin as they crashed out of the Spanish Super Cup.

Has Isco agreed a move to Barcelona?

Barcelona Transfer News: Shocking reports suggest that Real Madrid’s Isco has signed an agreement with their arch-rivals

This news would come as a shock for the Real Madrid fans who would still be celebrating the El Clasico win. But as per Spanish publication, El Chiringuito, Isco Alarcon could be moving to Barcelona in the summer.

Isco has fallen off the radar at Real Madrid this season. The Spaniard has been underutilized by Carlo Ancelotti, as the Italian prefers using Rodrygo or Marco Asensio instead of him.

The Spanish international first broke onto the scene with Malaga in 2011. Owing to his form, Isco was picked up by Real Madrid in 2013. He has since scored 52 goals in 346 appearances for the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners.

The 2016/17 season was by far the best that Isco Alarcon has had in the Real Madrid shirt. He scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in the league. He also helped his team win both the LaLiga and the UEFA Champions League titles that season.

The Champions League winner has just made 9 LaLiga appearances in the 2021/22 season. Out of this, he has just started 2 games and has only scored 1 goal in this season.

The Spaniard’s contract with Los Blancos will expire at the end of the season. Barcelona are currently in debt and hence would prefer signing free agents. Also, The Blaugrana had been interested in signing Isco themselves before Real Madrid swooped in to sign him from Malaga.

Is it the right decision for the Blaugrana?

Yes, Isco Alarcon has been one of the best midfielders in the past decade. To add to this, the versatile Spaniard can play as a winger as well. But the Spaniard has been far from his best in recent seasons.

Isco’s downfall first started under Zinedine Zidane in the 2020/21 season. Since then, even Carlo Ancelotti has been unimpressed by the player. Though signing Isco would make headlines, it has to be seen if he would still be effective if he joins FC Barcelona next season.

The Blaugrana are open to selling Dembele for €50m in January

FC Barcelona News: The Blaugrana reportedly wanted to extend the stay of French international Ousmane Dembele. But talks seem to have broken down as the Spanish giants are now willing to sell him in January.

It is no secret that FC Barcelona have gone into major debt in the past year. Owing to this, they also had to let go of Lionel Messi in the summer.

The fans expected that the performances on the pitch would at least make things better. But an early exit from the UEFA Champions League and a slow start in LaLiga seem to have killed those hopes as well.

Barcelona even sacked Ronald Koeman owing to their horrific start of the season. Since then, Xavi Hernandez has taken up the mantle at his old hunting ground. The World Cup winner has since brought a little normalcy to the free-falling club.

Will Ousmane Dembele leave FC Barcelona in January?

Barcelona News: The Blaugrana are open to selling Ousmane Dembele for €50m in January

Barcelona’s manager Xavi Hernandez reportedly wants Ousmane Dembele to stay at the club. But as per Foot Mercato, the winger may leave FC Barcelona if a decent offer comes in January.

As per the report, Ousmane Dembele currently earns around €20m per year at FC Barcelona. The Spanish club were ready to give him an increased contract of €25m per year, but the winger is not happy about it.

Dembele’s agent has reportedly made it clear that the Frenchman is expecting something around €40m per season. But given their financial condition, Barcelona can not afford to give such a contract for now.

Barcelona have given an ultimatum to Ousmane Dembele about the same. The club has reportedly made it clear that if the winger does not sign an extension by the end of January, he would be excluded from the first team.

The Frenchman’s contract with Barcelona is set to expire in June 2022. Hence, the Spanish club is now ready to sell him if an offer of €50m arrives before the end of this month. This is an astronomical value considering that Dembele just has 6-months remaining in his contract.

Ousmane Dembele joined FC Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017. Since then he has scored 31 goals in 130 appearances for the LaLiga club.

Possible destinations for Dembele?

It seems quite unlikely that any club would be willing to pay €50 million for a player who becomes a free agent in June. Nevertheless, Ousmane Dembele has a lot of potential suitors lined up for him if he does decide to leave.

As per multiple reports, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the winger’s situation. It has to be seen what Ousmane Dembele decides by the end of the 2021/22 season.

Real Madrid News: Carlo Ancelotti’s side secured the Supercopa de Espana title yesterday. But can the Italian help Real Madrid win any other titles this season?

Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid lined up to contest the finals of the Supercopa de Espana in Saudi Arabia. The supporters in attendance witnessed an utterly professional performance by Carlo Ancelotti’s team as they beat the defending champions 2-0.

Luka Modric scored the first goal in the 38th minute before Karim Benzema doubled Real Madrid’s lead courtesy of a second-half penalty. Athletic Club did get a penalty in the dying minutes, but Raul Garcia failed to convert from the spot.

The win against Athletic Club ensured that Real Madrid won the 12th Supercopa de España in their history. Los Blancos had earlier beaten Barcelona 3-2 in the semifinals of the competition.

Can Real Madrid add another LaLiga title to their trophy cabinet?

Real Madrid News: Los Blancos win the Spanish Super Cup, but will they be able to add any more titles this season?

The Supercopa de España victory ensured that Los Blancos won’t suffer a trophyless season. Real Madrid could not win any trophy under Zinedine Zidane last season. Following this, the Frenchman left the club at the end of the season.

Carlo Ancelotti has since rejoined the club and the Italian has successfully taken the Spanish Giants to newer heights. Under the “La Decima winning manager”, Real Madrid have rediscovered their brand of football.

Real Madrid are currently on top of the LaLiga table. They currently have a healthy 5-point gap over the nearest challengers Sevilla. Owing to this, Carlo Ancelotti’s side are the hot favorite to win their 35th Spanish crown.

To add to this, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are not having the best of seasons. Barcelona are currently 17-points behind Real Madrid in the LaLiga race. Meanwhile, the defending champions, Atletico Madrid, are trailing by 16-points.

Carlo Ancelotti’s success has mainly been based on two players, Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior. The duo have played a major part in their LaLiga campaign, scoring 29 of the 45 goals for the club. The duo were also pivotal in Real Madrid’s performance in the Supercopa de Espana.

Real Madrid News: Can Carlo Ancelotti bring the 14th UEFA Champions League title home?

Real Madrid will always be synonymous with the UEFA Champions League. The Spanish giants have won a record 13 European titles and are looking to add more to it this season. But the hunt for the 14th title will not be easy this season.

Los Blancos would be going up against a resolute Paris-Saint Germain side in the round of 16. PSG were considered by many as early tournament favorites. Hence, If Real Madrid manage to knock them out, it would surely make them instant favorites in the competition.

Can Real Madrid win the Copa Del Rey title once again?

It may be a shock to a lot of football fans, but Real Madrid last won the Copa Del Rey when they had nine UEFA Champions League titles to their name. Incidentally, Carlo Ancelotti was the man who led them to their 19th cup title in the 2013/14 season. With their rivals not in form, this could finally be the season when Real Madrid manage to add another Copa Del Rey title to their name.

FC Barcelona Transfer News: Interest In Tanguy Ndombele

FC Barcelona Transfer News: Spurs are apparently in a bidding war with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain for Tanguy Ndombele. The Premier League club valued him at €30 million.

The Catalan newspaper El Nacional has reported that Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are both interested in signing Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window. Tottenham Hotspur has placed a €30 million valuation on the French midfielder.

Having joined Tottenham Hotspur from Lyon in July of 2019, Tanguy Ndombele has had a rollercoaster ride in his first season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Under each of the club’s managers over the previous two and a half years, the 25-year-old has fallen out of favor. The club is battling to find a stable environment for him to flourish.

FC Barcelona Transfer News: Interest In Tanguy Ndombele

In 91 appearances for Tottenham, the Frenchman has contributed 10 goals and nine assists. Ndombele is now a bit-part player for Tottenham, with manager Antonio Conte not showing much interest in him.

While struggling at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the player remains highly sought-after. Both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain want to sign him from the Premier League club.

In this case, the uncertainty surrounding Frenkie de Jong may be motivating Barcelona’s interest. Even though the Dutch international remains a significant member of the Blaugrana’s squad, the club’s financial troubles may compel them to sell the teenager, who is the club’s most valuable asset.

FC Barcelona Transfer News: Barcelona’s interest in Ndombele

The Blaugranas will enter the transfer market in search of a more cost-effective alternative. This will bring Ndombele into the picture if de Jong is sold. Barcelona, on the other hand, will have to beat off Paris Saint-Germain in the hunt to sign the 25-year-old from Tottenham Hotspur later this month.

Ander Herrera and Idrissa Gueye are both in their late thirties. Marco Verratti has been sidelined by a string of ailments of late. So, Mauricio Pochettino may have to look elsewhere to bolster his midfield options.

Ndombele is, therefore, a feasible target for PSG. However, it is possible that AS Roma would compete with them and Barcelona for his services. Former Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is eager to reunite with his previous team.

As a result, Tottenham will not stand in the way of Ndombele’s plans. They want to sell him this month. To sell the 25-year-old, though, Tottenham would expect roughly €30 million. This might be a problem for Barcelona, who are exploring a loan transfer for him.

Paris Saint-Germain may overtake Barcelona in the race to acquire the misfit. However, it will be intriguing to watch if any other suitors emerge in the battle to sign him.
