Marcos Alonso suggests he wants to sign up with Chelsea

Marcos Alonso is a man that has been in the headlines, but will he stay or leave Chelsea in the summer.

While opportunities at the beginning of this season were limited by Ben Chilwell’s good form, there have been plenty since the England international’s knee injury and he has been enjoying his time

However, there has been a feeling that he will not get that much game time when Chilwell comes back to the club, and there are a number of clubs interested in his services.

But, now that he is playing and getting the minutes he wants, he now would like to extend his stay beyond the summer of 2023.

In an open interview at the team’s hotel in Abu Dhabi ahead of the Club World Cup final against Palmeiras, Alonso provided his version of events from the incident that led to him being jettisoned from the then head coach’s plans.

“I watched the game upstairs and with five minutes to go they [West Brom security] told me I cannot be here so I went downstairs to the changing room,” he said. “Then when the referee blew the whistle I went to the coach before the team got back.

“It was not with any bad intention that I wanted to leave but I had a shower at half-time already, I had a shower upstairs and then I just went. I was not happy, of course, with how the game went and everything but it was not any intention to do that.

“I spoke to my team-mates straight after. If someone felt offended or something, everyone was OK. You created the story, but it was nothing like this.”

“I signed a long contract here,” he adds. “Chelsea is the most important club in my career. I want to give back all the trust they put in me. That’s my only target.

“There will be good moments, there will be bad moments. There will be managers coming in and out. My contract is with Chelsea and I serve the club.

“I have always had interest from other clubs but, to be honest, it was never my intention to leave. I wanted to fight for my position. I know what I can give to the team and until the club tell me something else, then that will always be my target.”

Chelsea Receive Heavy Blow In Gvardiol Pursuit

Chelsea Transfer News: According to reports, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been dealt a setback in their pursuit of Josko Gvardiol. He seems poised to remain at RB Leipzig during the next summer transfer window

Chelsea Transfer News: Despite interest from Premier League powerhouses Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol is expected to stay with RB Leipzig in the forthcoming summer transfer window, as reported by Nathan Gissing.

Gvardiol is regarded as one of the most gifted young defenders in Europe. He began his career as a member of the Dinamo Zagreb development program in Croatia. He worked his way up through the club’s system.

After making a name for himself in his own country, the twenty-year-old came to RB Leipzig in the summer of the previous year. He has continued to leave a favorable impression on those who have seen him play since then.

During his first season in Germany, Gvardiol played in 46 matches and personally contributed five goals. These were vital in the Saxony-based outfit’s victory in the DFB-Pokal competition.

Chelsea Transfer News: The Blues were interested in him

The 20-year-old player, who has already earned 10 caps for the Croatian national team, has garnered a great deal of attention from teams all over Europe, notably in the Premier League.

Chelsea will be making significant changes to their defense this summer. So, the club has shown significant interest in Gvardiol. Both Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger are expected to leave Chelsea on free transfers.

The former is going to Barcelona and the latter is going to Real Madrid. In addition to that, the team captain, Cesar Azpilicueta, may also be moving. Thiago Silva will be 38 in a few months.

Therefore, Chelsea must acquire at least one outstanding center back. Thomas Tuchel has said that acquiring Jules Kounde from Sevilla is still one of his top priorities. But Gvardiol has also emerged as a serious prospect for the west London club.

Tottenham’s pursuit for the player:

Tottenham Hotspur, who competes with Chelsea in the English Premier League, has also shown significant interest in Gvardiol in advance of the summer transfer window. After receiving a financial infusion of £150 million, the Lilywhites might be ready for a splurge in the summer.

Manager Antonio Conte is still eager on bolstering his defensive options, even though Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon are expected to be released from their contracts.

Conte has been using Ben Davies as the left-sided centre-back since his arrival. But he is looking to enhance the position and Gvardiol has emerged as a target for the club. Alessandro Bastoni of Inter Milan is another player Conte is interested in signing.

However, according to the latest information provided by Nathan Gissing, both Chelsea and Tottenham have been dealt a setback in their pursuit of Gvardiol. This is because it is quite probable that he will continue playing for RB Leipzig, where he is now under contract until 2026.

The likelihood of the Croatian moving clubs is low. But it will be intriguing to watch whom Chelsea and Tottenham try to sign during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea Interested In Yves Bissouma

Chelsea Transfer News: According to recent reports, Premier League giants Chelsea are considering making a summer transfer for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma, who is 25 years old

Chelsea Transfer News: According to a report by an English journalist named Nathan Gissing, Chelsea has had Yves Bissouma in their sights for quite some time. The club is reportedly showing interest in making a bid to acquire the player during the next summer transfer window. There is a possibility that the 25-year-old midfielder may part ways with Brighton & Hove Albion before the 2022/23 campaign.

Yves Bissouma received his early education and spent his formative years in his native country of Mali. His first experience in Europe came in 2016 when he signed with LOSC Lille.

However, after making the move to Brighton & Hove Albion in July 2018, the player has rocketed to the forefront of public attention. He has established himself as one of the most talented midfielders in the Premier League.

Chelsea Transfer News: Why does Chelsea need a midfielder?

The 25-year-old forward has appeared for the Seagulls 124 times over the course of the last four years. Thus, contributing six goals and three assists during that period. The fact that Bissouma’s current agreement is set to expire in 2023 has put Brighton in a difficult position.

But he is an important player for the team. The most successful teams in the Premier League, like Chelsea, have taken notice of the current scenario.

The summer transfer window is when Thomas Tuchel will have the opportunity to reshape Chelsea’s roster. The position of midfielder might be one of his primary areas of focus.

Both N’Golo Kante, the French international, and Jorginho face an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge. Their respective contracts will expire in the next year. N’Golo Kante’s fitness problems are also there.

According to several recent rumors, Chelsea might be interested in moving Jorginho. Kante’s future at the club could also be in jeopardy.

Even if it seems expected that Tuchel will include Conor Gallagher in the first-team setup for the next season, Chelsea will still need to obtain the services of one more midfielder during the summer transfer window.

Will Chelsea go for him?

As a result of this, Chelsea has begun to show interest in acquiring Bissouma. The 25-year-old is now being considered as a potential replacement for Jorginho. Since the Brighton midfielder already has years of experience playing in the Premier League, it is possible that he won’t need too much time to adjust to playing for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

When it comes to the battle to recruit Bissouma, though, Chelsea is expected to be up against tough competition from several other Premier League teams.

The international player from Mali is expected to depart Brighton & Hove Albion to pursue other opportunities during the summer transfer window. This much, at least, can be said with absolute certainty at this time.

Tomori – Lukaku – Alonso feature in Chelsea news of the day

Lukaku requests talks – Blues told to sign Tomori – Alonso agent arrives in London in Chelsea news of the day…

Chelsea flop Romelu Lukaku has reportedly requested a meeting with Inter Milan to discuss his future.

Lukaku become the most deadly striker in Italian football and many fans were hoping that his arrival would bring goals, and along with that, more trophies to add to the cabinet.

However, that has not been the case and Lukaku has looked nothing like the man that dominated Serie A last season, and has even admitted that he simply cannot adapt to the style of play of Tuchel

And of course that has led to all sorts of speculation in the media that Chelsea would be very open to letting him leave the club and use the money to sign an adequate replacement.

Now – Journalist Fabrizio Biasin reports that striker has engineered an appointment between one of his representatives and his former club, due to take place in the coming days.

However, any possible return to the San Siro is currently described as ‘complicated’ – as Inter are not prepared to pay anything like the £97 million Chelsea paid last summer to resign him.

IcFootballnews View…

There has been far too many rumours in the media suggesting that Lukaku wants to leave the club to believe that he doesnt want to depart

So if the reports are true and he is pushing for a move back to Italian football – can we really see him taking a massive pay-cut at this stage of his career to head back to Inter? No we cannot

He is not getting any younger and he knows that he is still one of the best strikers in the game, so may actually make a move elsewhere as he just cant settle back into life at the Bridge

It is widely expected that Tuchel makes some big summer signings and add a striker is one that needs to be done – Lukaku will not lead them to titles

Alonso agent arrives in London…

Marcos Alonso’s departure from Chelsea appears to be edging closer – after his agent arrived in London to hold talks with the club

The Spanish star is currently enjoying a very good run in the team under Thomas Tuchel thanks to the injury that is keeping Ben Chilwell out of the squad, and looks like a very good defender, at times.

But there has constantly been speculation about players that could be arriving in the coming windows, despite all the drama surrounding the club right now, which will mean that Alonso will fall back down the pecking order at the club.

And that has constantly led to many reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea are very much open to letting him go, especially as his contract at the club expires at the end of next season.

Mundo Deportivo report that the Spaniard’s agent Fali Ramadani travelled to London this week in order to speed up transfer talks – as his client wants out of the club

The 31-year-old is expected to join Barcelona this summer, along with teammate Andreas Christensen and, potentially, captain Cesar Azpilicueta.

IcFootballnews View…

Chelsea fans will surely not appreciate the fact that Alonso is talking about leaving the club and moving over to La Liga, especially with all the rumours that there could be an exodus at the club.

However, if he does depart the club, there are many player out there that can be signed that will do a better job for Tuchel.

And with Chilwell back in the side – he will not be missed too much will he?

The fans will be expecting some big signings over the next few months and fans cannot wait to see just what type of players are actually signed by Tuchel

Chelsea told to sign Tomori

Scott Minto has advised Chelsea to try and bring Serie A winner Fikayo Tomori back to Stamford Bridge in the summer window – claiming he would be a superb signing

It is no secret that Chelsea will need to delve into that transfer kitty in the coming transfer window as a number of players are all set to depart the club – and it means that Thomas Tuchel is eyeing up a number of possible signings

Tomori is rated as one of the best young centre-backs in the game and after Chelsea decided to let him leave the club – he has tasted glory with AC Milan this season, winning the Scudetto as one of the Rossoneri’s most important players.

And with the fact that Chelsea will need to sign a new defender in the transfer window – Minto has opened up and advised the incoming board to make a move and try to bring him back to the Premier League

Minto told Kick Off on talkSPORT: “I think he would be superb.

“I saw him at Derby and thought he was brilliant, he was Derby’s player of the year, and he lifted himself up whenever he played in a Chelsea shirt.

“I remember him almost man-marking Salah out of the game one time at the Bridge, he was superb, and he’s come on without a doubt.

“So give him another year, then bring him back. I’d say to him: ‘Look, have one more season, then do you fancy coming back to the Bridge?’”

IcFootballnews View…

It was a massive mistake from Chelsea to let Tomori leave the club – he was a rising talent for the club

He has gone to Italian football – developed into one of the best in the League – helped the Italians to another title and really looks like a man that is the idea replacement for Rudiger

He may want a move back to the Premier League one day- but why would be want to leave the Italians when he is loving life in Italy?
