Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Juventus wants Martial

Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Manchester United fans are buzzing with the latest developments regarding Anthony Martial. The Frenchman is wanted by Juventus and the Old Lady are ready to take him on loan till the season end.

Juventus want to get the deal over the line as soon as possible. The Old Lady is thin in their attacking department after Federico Chiesa suffered a season-ending injury.

United’s number nine has struggled with form and fitness. Martial hasn’t played a single minute of football since coming off the bench in the dying stages of the 3-2 win against Arsenal last month.

The former Monaco man is keen on a move away. He conveyed the message to the manager out loud and he wants to move in January itself.

Manchester United Transfer Rumours: What did his agent have to say?

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the agent of Anthony Martial was upfront about his situation. He said: “Anthony wants to leave the club to play more. He wants to leave in January, and I will have a conversation with the club

Manchester United Transfer Rumours: Martial, Poor attitude for the exit?

Martial had his best season not so long ago. However, instead of building on the good season, he totally faded away. The striker failed to cement a place under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the same thing is happening to him with Ralf Rangnick.

The former Golden Boy’s attitude has always been in question and that frustrates the fans. The 26-year-old was struggling under Ole last season and has started just one game under the interim German manager this season.

However, whichever club wants to buy the player won’t have it cheap. The number nine is on a hefty wage of £240,000-per-week and in addition United will look for some loan fees as well.

Which clubs are interested?

The first club that made a formal approach for Martial was Spanish powerhouse Sevilla. The La Liga side Sevilla offered to pay half the wages for the French international, but it was quickly rebuffed by the United hierarchy.

But according to 90min, Juventus are desperate to reinforce in order to make the Champions League next season. The team from Turin has escalated the process after Chiesa was ruled out of the season.

It is being reported that they have held talks with United and are readying an offer to take Martial on loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy.

Max Allegri thinks that Martial would be an ideal candidate to replace Chiesa. The striker wants a fresh start and Juventus can provide him with that.

The official bid hasn’t been made yet. However, it’s been said that it is just a matter of when and not if. Everyone around the club expects Martial to make a move to Turin as soon as the bid arrives.

Manchester United star hints at potential transfer

Manchester United star Anthony Martial refused to rule out a permanent transfer to Sevilla, after recently completing a temporary move.

The talented Frenchman publicly announced his desire to leave this month in search of first-team minutes and Ralf Rangnick finally succumbed to his wish.

Martial said: “My loan move to Sevilla is valid for next five months, end of the season… but you never know what happens in the future. We’ll see.

“I wanted to join Sevilla because of Monchi and Lopetegui. I’m here to play and show what I can do.”

Rangnick explained to United supporters that he feels the club shouldn’t have to beg or convince players to stay.

The German boss has been very frank in his press conferences and has moved quickly to find out who’s committed and who isn’t.

Rangnick also insisted players can’t just ask to leave and expect a deal to happen as it is more complicated than that.

The former RB Leipzig man stated that all three parties (both clubs and the player) have to agree on the finances involved for a successful transfer.

Otherwise, players will have to accept that their moves won’t materialise regardless of their desires.

Sevilla agreed to cover all of Martial’s wages and that is what saw a breakthrough happen but it seems he’s left the door open for a permanent transfer to happen.

Elanga and Mejbri to Get More Game Time

Manchester United News: The January transfer window is usually calmer than the summer transfer window. This window is different because multiple clubs are struggling with squad depth because of Covid issues as well as injury. However, with just five days left in the window, Manchester United looks like benefitting out of it.

Anthony Martial has already departed for Sevilla and United will be getting 6m euros in loan fees. Sevilla will be paying his wages in full as well. Adding to this, it’s a matter of time before Jesse Lingard is let go by the club because of Newcastle’s persistence.

Ralf Rangnick had not been happy with the bloated squad he received from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The German will be very happy to see the backs of two players who weren’t going to contribute much to the next few months.

With two established players going out and no incomings happening, few United fans panicked. However, they quickly realize that they have two ready-made replacements available within the squad.

Anthony Elanga is the tailor-made replacement for Anthony Martial. The Swedish star is featuring more and more after Martial announced he wants a move away from the team.

The youngster is rated very highly by the interim manager, as well as the other members of the squad. It’s true that he would have to wait a bit longer if not for the Frenchman’s early departure on a loan move.

Martial and Rangnick had a communication breakdown even before the former Monaco man departed for Sevilla. This gave the academy graduate a golden opportunity to showcase his talent, and he didn’t disappoint.

There were many clubs in line to grab the teenager for a loan move. However, Rangnick made it clear that the Swedish U-21 star remains firmly in his plans for the next six months at the club.

The 19-year-old shocked lot of people when he committed himself to the Tunisian national team. However, it’s a decision that’s making total sense now and he is balling big time with the African nation. He was brilliant for them in Arab Cup and quickly became a key player for them.

The reports coming out of the club are clear that the youngster will be given more first-team opportunities so that he can develop even further. The former Monaco starlet is highly rated by the club coaching staff, including Rangnick.

The Red Devils will be playing a lot in the second half of the season and Mejbri is expected to get good game time. The decision of the club is clear. They are eager to see both Elanga and Mejbri learn from the best players in the squad daily.

Anthony Martial: Picture shows happy Manchester United star ahead of Sevilla move – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United star Anthony Martial has touched down in Seville ahead of his expected loan move to Sevilla.

The French international was pictured arriving as he posed for photographers and reporters before moving swiftly, presumably, to the club.

It’s understood Sevilla won’t pay a loan fee for Martial but the deal broke through thanks to their willingness to cover all his wages.

Even that took a bit of work as it’s said the former AS Monaco man gave up some of his salary in order to make the loan happen.

Martial’s main desire was to leave United in order to secure regular minutes in order to regain his best form which consequently could see him selected for France in their World Cup bid later this year.

The versatile attacker has, perhaps, too much competition for his position, regardless of whether it’s on the wing or as a striker.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood, and Marcus Rashford can all play as strikers and Ralf Rangnick’s new 4-3-3 formation sees the need for just one forward.

On the left-wing, Martial faces competition from Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Jesse Lingard, and now Anthony Elanga as well.

There have been accusations in the past that he does not enjoy competition, having previously wilted on separate occasions following the arrivals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, then Romelu Lukaku, and lastly Cavani.

Nonetheless, United fans recognise Martial’s talent and are generally wishing he rediscovers his best in Spain.
