I’m fine with the wait for new owners as long as the reason is due diligence – Talk Chelsea

We have been expecting to hear any day now who the chosen winning bidders to buy Chelsea would be. However, true to fashion, we have been made to wait even longer, and so have the bidders.

According to a report from The Telegraph today, Raine Group, who are handling the sale for Roman Abramovich, went back to the Chelsea bidders since improved offers were lodged asking questions and seeking greater detail on some of their business plans and forecasts. The bidders have been given no indication on when they are likely to find out who has won the race.

Believe me, I am as frustrated about this as the next man and I am sick to death of the whole debacle now and just want to know who are new owners will be.

However, when you really look into it, it appears that the main reason for this delay is so that those making the decision on who will be our new owner – Abramovich, Bruce Buck, and Marina Granovskaia – can make sure they do their full due diligence on each group and make sure they pick the right choice and leave us in safe hands. And I’m totally OK with that.

I’d rather that than them rushing it through even more and not being fully confident that they were selecting the right group for Chelsea and the right group to lead us forward, so I am totally fine with this.

They all want to make sure that their last act for this club (IF they are leaving) is to leave us in good hands for our future, and they will leave a legacy on Chelsea if they get this right. So, if a few more questions and extra diligence is being done here on their part, then so be it. We must think of the bigger picture here and our future.

Chelsea are Looking to Ruin Real Madrid’s Attempt for Reece James!

Chelsea News: Real Madrid have shown their interest in Reece James. But the Blues are reportedly looking to hold on to their asset by giving him a contract extension in the summer.

The Blues are in a massive struggle as they are currently unable to even extend the contract of their current players. This is due to the fact that the UK government has declared the Chelsea Football Club a “frozen asset”.

Owing to this, the Blues cannot conduct any business within or outside the club until the new owners take over. But amidst this, the London-based side have suffered a lot in terms of transfers.

Chelsea have already lost out on Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen as per reports. The London-based club could lose out on Reece James next as Real Madrid have shown their interest in the player.

D-day for the Blues as they expect nine bids for new ownership

Chelsea News: This is undoubtedly the most important decision in Chelsea Football Club’s history. Raine, a US bank, has scheduled Friday as D Day for accepting bids from consortiums, billionaire tycoons, and other interested parties before choosing a preferred bidder.

Sebastian Coe, the man behind the London 2012 Olympics, has teamed up with Sir Martin Broughton. Sir Martin Broughton is a lifelong Chelsea supporter, and their partnership is sure to gain support at Stamford Bridge.

However, British businessman Nick Candy, as well as owners of the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers are in the race. New York Jets, as well as public declarations for billionaires from Turkey, Ghana, and Saudi Arabia, have expressed interest.

They are expecting at least six serious bids. Once the bids are received, a decision will be made about which offer is best to proceed.

Even though the deadline has been set for Friday, the selection process is almost certain to extend into next week, and it could take a long time. The deadline for buyers to present proof of cash, their vision, and business strategy, as well as a timeframe for completion, has been set.

Abramovich is a Russian businessman who has been in command of Chelsea for 19 years and guided them to unprecedented success. He has been forced to sell after the Premier League banned him as a director.

Raine has been designated as the deal’s broker. They will have to identify the best buyer for the club, not necessarily based on the highest offer. They also have to look at the long-term vision of the upcoming owners.

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck and director Marina Granovskaia are expected to have some impact after meeting potential purchasers and providing advice.

They’ll pick the best choice, then apply to the government for a license to enable the takeover. Throughout the process, the government will oversee the process to ensure that Abramovich makes no money.

The funds are effectively held in a government-holding account. It’s because Abramovich’s assets have been frozen following the announcement of sanctions against him.

What are the concerns?

However, there is stress regarding the debt of the club. The Russian billionaire who financed the club’s success; owes the club £1.5 billion. It was never a secret how much Abramovich spent in order to ensure that Chelsea remain on top.

Owners in the United States have a different vision, based on a self-sustaining model that can lead to success, but it will be a long way from Abramovich’s excess.

The Premier League will only get engaged late in a takeover to oversee the Owners’ and Directors’ Test, which will never be as essential as it is now.

The Blues are now operating under a special license. This means that they have lost their shirt sponsors Three, who decided to cut ties with the club. This means that the club will have to face a loss of £40million per annum.

Barclays has also suspended the club’s bank account. This leaves a possibility that Chelsea might face a bigger financial problem than expected till the end of the season.

That is the context in which the club is keen to complete a sale of the club’s ownership as soon as possible. CBS Sports now report that the Saudi Media Group has lodged an offer of £2.7billion to buy the Champions League holders.

Mohamed Alkhereiji is a Chelsea fan.

Mohamed Alkhereiji, the owner of Saudi Media, is a Chelsea fan and is leading a private consortium to buy the club. Alkhereiji is the CEO of Engineer Holding Group, which was started by his father, Abdulelah Alkhereiji.

He earned an executive master’s degree in business administration from the London Business School. He has previously worked as an analyst for Deutsche Bank in London. It’s been said that during that period he became interested in Chelsea.

Saudi Media is said to produce £770 million per year. If they have to make a bid, it is likely to be backed by a group of other Saudi Arabian private investors. According to the reports, there won’t be any involvement from the Saudi government.

Saudi Media’s offer for Chelsea involved investing in redeveloping Stamford Bridge and the club’s academy at Cobham Training Centre, as well as the women’s squad. This made their offer the most lucrative one.

Chelsea’s potential to produce income has been hampered due to the stadium’s tiny capacity. The club has the lowest capacity ground in the top 6 clubs in the country – less than 42,000. The stadium has faced difficulty in enhancing its capacity in recent years due to spacing.

Alkhereiji oversaw the construction of Al Nassr’s new, state-of-the-art stadium in Mrsool Park. The Saudis are banking on it in order to persuade the Blues that he is the right investor. Bidders for Chelsea have until March 18 to submit competing offers.
