Hannibal Mejbri slams critics after his Liverpool cameo

Manchester United News: After being introduced off the substitutes bench late in the game against Liverpool on Tuesday, Hannibal Mejbri appears to have responded to those who criticized him for his performance.
Mejbri went into numerous challenges and conceded fouls. The Manchester United midfielder made his Liverpool colleagues aware that he was present. Jordan Henderson appeared to be enraged when the Tunisian international caught him with an excessive tackle.
While the Reds were dissatisfied, Hannibal rapidly won over United fans with his tough-tackling, no-nonsense style. The way he played made Untied fans excited and they will be hoping to see more of the fight from other members of the team.
While on commentary duties, former United defender Gary Neville confessed that he was “proud” of the player. The analyst is one of many fans of the Algerian. Mejbri will be hoping to make a bigger impact under Erik Ten Hag this season.

During his post-match podcast, he expanded on that claim, saying, “That kid came on and he showed something. He reminded me of Nobby Stiles and Eric Harrison.”
“Compete, win duels, fight for every ball. There was only one kid who came on and showed he had the heart and soul to play for Manchester United Football Club – him.”
Hannibal’s most recent Instagram post suggests he doesn’t regret his physical approach. He said: “It’s always an honour to wear this shirt. I’m always willing to put up a battle for this badge.”
The youthful sensation has already received 12 caps for his country and played in the Africa Cup of Nations this year. Antonio Valencia, another former Red Devil, praised his most recent United appearance.

On Twitter, the Ecuadorian remarked, “Today I am proud of this boy.” It was a similar assessment to Neville’s post-game assessment.
What he meant, according to the former England international, was as follows: “To be honest, I was pleased of the child [Mejbri]. When I mentioned that he was walking around attempting to top people and kick people. However, he demonstrated something, and he displayed something.”
The fact that Hannibal objected to Liverpool players passing and showboating around him is seen as a plus by United supporters.
On the other hand his teammates were absolutely clueless on the night. They could not lay a glove on their opponents and made it easier for them at every junction. United didn’t give their arch-rivals much of a fight, winning the game 4-0.
