Everton get boost in chase to sign talented striker Adeyemi

Published

Red Bull Salzburg head coach Mattias Jaissle has admitted that in-demand Everton target Karim Adeyemi could be on the move at the end of the current season.

Everton boss Frank Lampard is lining up a number of possible transfer signings that will be able to come in and freshen up the side, especially as he wants to put his own stamp on the side

Adeyemi is attracting all sorts of interest because of his performances this season with the likes of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund just some clubs that are interested in a transfer deal

“It may well be that he leaves in the summer,” Jaissle told a press conference. “I think it’s important that as a coach you have a close connection to your players. I have an open dialogue with Karim. His decision won’t surprise me when it is announced.

“He’s not gone yet. In general, of course, I like to work longer with my boys and I always hope so until another decision is made. But the way we operate is that players can take the next career step when they have developed well.”

Everton Star Calvert Lewin would prefer move to Arsenal

Published

Noel Whelan believes Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin will still prefer a move to Arsenal – even though they have not made a move yet

There is no doubt in the media that Mikel Arteta will be handed some funds in order to sign a striker that will solve all their problems, and that can score the goals that will take them back to the top

That has led to all sorts of speculation that Arsenal are ready to pay the big money and bring Calvert-Lewin to the Emirates – despite the very poor season that he has had with the relegation threatened Everton.

But despite the fact that Arsenal have switched their attentions to other potential targets in the summer – Whelan has come out and claimed that Calvert-Lewin is prepared to make a move to the Emirates if they firm up their interest.

He tells Football Insider: “I still believe he would suit Arsenal more than Newcastle.

“But at the same time, if Newcastle are the side stepping up the talks – then that onus has just been put on Arsenal and Mikel Arteta to react.

“They’re trying to get the business done early and get the representatives sat down to try and reach a deal.

“I think Calvert-Lewin will probably be hoping Arsenal come in. The window isn’t even open yet, so this is one I can see going on all summer.”

Look, we all believe that Lampard does want to keep hold of Calvert-Lewin – he is a brilliantly gifted striker.

But will the EVERTON board reject an offer of £80 million if it came in? We do not think so

Arsenal are a massive club that just need a couple of big signings that will send a statement to the rest of the Premier League – who wouldnt want to join them

But DCL is not worth £80 million – that is silly money

Bayern Munich

Bayern In Tussle For Richarlison

Published

Bayern Munich Transfer News: Richarlison’s future was discussed in detail in a piece that was published not too long ago by Goal Brazil. The Everton striker has made it clear that he intends to leave Goodison Park after the current campaign.

He is now being pursued by a number of the best teams in Europe. Bayern Munich is the latest team to express interest, following the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United in the competition.

It would seem that the uncertainty around the future of star striker Robert Lewandowski has encouraged Bayern to take a proactive approach in the market. If their Polish striker decides to go after the current campaign, the Bundesliga heavyweights are doing all they can to acquire the services of a top-tier striker who can cushion the blow.

According to the report, Bayern Munich has reportedly made contact with Richarlison’s agent to investigate the possibility of a transfer to the Allianz Arena over the summer.

But Everton has not been officially contacted, nor has the club made an offer for the player as of yet. Neither of these things has happened. The same holds for each and every one of the other clubs competing in the pursuit.

Bayern Munich Transfer News: Bayern Munich’s stance

The Bundesliga club has already shown a significant amount of interest in Sadio Mane. They are said to have even attempted to communicate with the Senegalese international player.

However, acquiring the services of the Liverpool star will be challenging. This is because the Reds want to maintain their prized attacker. His current deal will expire after the next season.

It has prompted Bayern to pursue Richarlison, a younger option who may not have played at the same level but can unquestionably produce at that level. The talent of the Brazilian player has been recognized by several of Europe’s elite teams.

This includes Real Madrid, among others. During their tenure at Goodison Park, Carlo Ancelotti and Richarlison have previously collaborated on many matches together. It is believed that he is excited about the possibility of reuniting at Santiago Bernabeu.

Manchester United’s interest:

Manchester United is another club that may be interested in acquiring the player from Everton. Marcus Rashford’s play this season has taken a drastic tumble. As a result, the Red Devils are hunting for a quality player to compete with Rashford.

They have been connected with a move to Richarlison very regularly over the last year. But, new coach Erik ten Hag is likely to seek another Brazilian player in Antony. Richarlison’s name has been brought up in connection with a potential transfer.

It should auger well for both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. But it remains to be seen if they are ready to match Everton’s value of £50 million for the 25-year-old Brazilian international player. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are both likely to be interested in the player.
