Dressing room rift rumours continue to grow

Manchester United fans have been told the dressing room problems have not quite ended just yet, according to reports.

Ralf Rangnick has had a lot of problems to deal with since becoming manager and the squad’s harmony has been one of his most difficult.

Journalist Christian Falk insists the dressing room problems are ongoing, seemingly suggesting it’s an English-speaking vs Portuguese-speaking battle.

Interestingly enough, he doesn’t reveal why the former group are ‘irritated’ by the latter group and just warns there’s a risk of a split in the team.

Fred has already dismissed such rumours in the past but it seems the media are persistent with the story.

Marcus Rashford also dismissed the news:

Falk soon responded:

Manchester United great Gary Neville warned any of the potential players or staff that are leaking inside information that he knows who is doing it.

The squad certainly had to be united in order to overcome Brighton 2-0 on Tuesday night in what was a crucial tie.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes were the goalscorers but once again, the team could have scored far more.

The first half was a shocking performance but whatever was said at half-time appeared to work.

Manchester United can’t afford to continue putting in incomplete performances but the hope is it will all gradually improve.

It’s easy to assume the inconsistent displays are due to a dressing room rift but there have been no official facts stated about it all.

Dylan Levitt hopes to earn chance under Erik Ten Hag after impressive loan – Man United News And Transfer News

Impressing on loan in Scotland, Dylan Levitt has recently set his targets for next season including impressing his new boss, Erik Ten Hag.

Currently, on loan at Dundee United, Levitt has notched four goals from midfield so far as he plays a key role in securing a Europa Conference League spot for The Tangerines.

After his impressive loan spell, the Welsh international has set his sights on returning to United and earning a spot in Wales’ World Cup squad.

Speaking with The Courier last week, Levitt said “with the new manager [ten Hag] going in at United, hopefully, I’ll get a chance.”

Slightly concerning though was the uncertainty around his contract situation as he quipped “my contract is up in the summer and it hasn’t been spoken about. Hopefully, I will hear something in the next few weeks.”

He remains optimistic though saying “I’d love to be able to go back and make an impact. It’academy arenas everyone’s dream to do that.”

With his contract set to expire, the club does have an optional year extension than can be triggered but as of yet has not been.

The youngster’s attitude will be sure to impress Ten Hag as he wants “to get better every single day. That goes on forever.”

During his time in Scotland so far, Levitt has become a favourite among the fans and his teammates with defender Adrian Sporle saying “he was a great signing for the club. He is different, you realise he comes from Man Utd. He has great technique and quality. He is one of my favourites.”

The young midfielder scored a wonder goal last week as Dundee United fell to Hearts.

It is unclear as of yet what next season will look like for Levitt, but as it stands United have a talented young midfielder who deserves a contract extension and a chance to impress the new manager in the summer.

Tahith Chong: Manchester United extend deal for 22 year old winger – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United have extended Tahith Chong‘s contract for another year.

The 22 year old was on his final months before United made a decision to extend his stay for another season.

United signed him as a teenager from the Feyenoord academy in 2016.

His last appearance for United came against LASK in the Europa League in August 2020.

Chong was then sent on loan to Werder Bremen and Club Brugge.

United finally decided to send him on loan to Birmingham City so that he could get used to the physicality of English football.

He has scored once and assisted twice in his 16 starts in the EFL Championship this season.

The Englishman’s season has been tarnished by a groin injury, forcing him to be sidelined for four months.

United will be looking to integrate Chong into the first team in the upcoming pre-season tour.

Last month Technical Director Darren Fletcher spoke about the club’s youth players out on loan.

“We currently have 13 young players and academy products on loan and playing regularly in other divisions or leagues,”

“Hopefully we’ll see players like Brandon Williams, Teden Mengi, Jimmy Garner, Ethan Laird, Tahiti Chong, and Amad Diallo reap the benefits of that.”

“All of them are doing really well on loan and we’re excited to bring them back in the preseason to see how they fare with our first-team players.”

Bruno Fernandes signs a new deal with Manchester United until June 2026 – Man United News And Transfer News

Bruno Fernandes has signed a new contract with Manchester United until June 2026.

The Peoples Person recently reported that the club will be giving a new contract to the Portuguese international.

It was first rumoured last summer when Man United kicked off talks after the Europa League final defeat.

However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as manager a couple of months later which halted negotiations between the agents.

Afterwards, the process was slow and was something United wanted to get out of the way before appointing their next permanent manager.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the announcement of the contract extension is in place and everything has been agreed upon.

He said in a tweet, “Bruno Fernandes has signed his new contract with Manchester United until June 2027, confirmed.”

“He will be into [the] top 3 highest-paid players in the team after long negotiation now completed”.

Fernandes will sign until June 2026 with the option to extend the deal by a further year until June 2027.

United fans will be excited to hear the news after pleasing them since his arrival in January 2020.

He has scored a total of 49 goals in all competitions appearing 117 times since his arrival.

It is clear to see that the Red Devils want to build the team around the 27-year-old.

The next manager will also be pleased to hear that such an important player is here to stay for the long term.
