Swansea City vs Bristol City predictions
Last weekend, Swansea City had Michael Obafemi to thank after his 16th-minute strike was all that was needed to sink Blackburn Rovers at the Liberty Stadium.
Consistency has been a real issue for Swansea all year though, and it was little surprise when Ryan Bennett’s side then followed up the result against Blackburn with a drab performance away at Stoke.
Ryan Bennett got himself sent off at The City Ground as the Swans conceded three second-half goals to make it six defeats in the last 10 Championship matches.
Bennett’s side is now 11 points off the pace for a playoff berth but does possess a game in hand on most sides above them.

It’s been a similar kind of year for Bristol City, who find themselves just two points and one place ahead of Swansea in the league table having played a game more.
The Robins did manage a 2-1 win vs Reading during the week thanks to strikes from Antoine Semenyo and Michael Morrison.
But, Bristol City haven’t won any of their last nine away matches, and the pressure is beginning to mount on Nigel Pearson, the Robins’ manager, who desperately needs to buck the trend away in Wales on Sunday.
With both of these teams so evenly matched and with both struggling for form and consistency at present, we like the look of the 5/2 odds on a draw.

Swansea City vs Bristol City betting tips
In the last 8 meetings between Swansea City and Bristol City at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea have won three times, there have been 2 draws and Bristol City have won three times, too. So, the recent record between these sides in Wales is dead level.
This, combined with the fact that just two points separate Bristol and Swansea in the Championship standings is why we’re backing a draw.
But, we’ve been impressed by Bristol forward Andres Weimann all year, too. The Austrian has bagged 14 league goals already this season but hasn’t rippled the net since grabbing a 77th-minute winner vs another Welsh side, Cardiff City, three weeks ago.
Call it an inkling, but we just have a feeling that Weimann might break the duck tomorrow afternoon.
Swansea City vs Bristol City betting tips: Drawn game with Andres Weimann to score for the Robins @ 11/1 with bet365.

Alex Scott
Race For The Signing Of Alex Scott

Tottenham Hotspur Transfer News: Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur are apparently in a bidding war for the services of Bristol City teenager Alex Scott
Tottenham Hotspur transfer News: As reported by the Mirror, Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur will compete for the signature of Bristol City’s Alex Scott during the forthcoming summer transfer window. Scott is expected to sign with either Leeds United or Tottenham Hotspur.
After joining from FC Guernsey in 2020, the 18-year-old has made an immediate impression on everyone at the Championship club. So far, he has made 40 appearances for the club. Thus, scoring four goals and providing two assists in the process.
He is typically used as an attacking midfielder, either out wide on the right or in the center of the field. In addition, he has shown that he is capable of playing as a wing-back. This adaptability could serve him well in his ascent to the top. It remains to be seen what his next move will be in the process.
Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur both took in new managers in the middle of the season. They will be looking to the summer transfer window as a method of bolstering their respective management teams.

Scott, an English Under-19 international, looks to be on the radar of both teams. He has been informed that he has been scouted by both this season.
Scott is showing potential
The youngster’s current contract with Bristol City will keep him there until 2025. The Robins have the upper hand in discussions. But they might cash in if the proper price is offered. Scott is valued at £10 million by the club. This is a reasonable amount considering the player’s potential.
Throughout the previous three seasons, Tottenham has relied on Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to spearhead their offensive efforts. Others have stepped in as necessary. But there has been no continuous third front in the offensive.
The arrival of Dejan Kulusevski has given Antonio Conte’s team more bite in attack. But Spurs could do with a few more additions in the attacking third of the field. This makes Scott a target for the Italian coach’s side.
Furthermore, under Conte’s system, he can also play as a right-wing-back. It is advantageous given the uncertainty surrounding the future of Emerson Royal. He is being linked with a move away from Tottenham only a year after joining the club.
What’s next for Scott?
The same can be said for Leeds. They draw inspiration from Raphinha’s performances. They are lacking in terms of a creative presence in the center of the pitch.
This will be addressed during the summer transfer window. Furthermore, Scott’s ability to play as a wing-back may allow him to link up with Raphinha on the right flank. Therefore overloading the left side.
Scott is still a long way from being a completed product at the age of 18. With the appropriate supervision, he has the potential to grow into a great player for the future and to become a long-term asset to any Premier League side. It remains to be known where his path will lead him next.
Birmingham City
Tahith Chong talks about his tough mental battle while recovering from a long injury

Manchester United News: The Red Devils have a vast array of talents present with them at the club and one of them is Tahith Chong. The Dutchman has been out injured on his loan move with Birmingham. He recently talked about the physical and mental challenges he faced and how he is excited to make a comeback.
Chong was sent on a season-long loan deal to get much-needed playing time in English football. However, the winger suffered a groin injury with Birmingham City after a few games and remained side-lined for over four months.
The injury required an operation and Chong came back for a while to Manchester United for rehabilitation. The academy graduate made his first start for Birmingham since October and took little time in making an impression.
It was just two minutes on the clock before the returning star scored and which was also his first-ever league goal in English football. The 22-year-old produced a sublime finish as Birmingham won 2-1 against Bristol City.
Manchester United News: What did Chong say?
Speaking about his comeback and the challenges he faced, Chong said: “I was buzzing before the game, and I felt nice about it. I talked to my fellow teammates Lyle and Baca and that was good for me.”
“It’s a wonderful feeling to be on the pitch again. Being injured is hard and even though I was supporting the team throughout that time, I wanted to be on the pitch and play.”
“For me, it was a great sight to see a full stadium. It has been a while and mentally it was very challenging. I just want to say that I was very happy.”
“There have been changes in the team since I got injured. There are new players, some I knew already some I didn’t, and we are getting used to each other. The team is good, and we want to keep getting good results.”
What did blues boss Bowyer have to say?
Bower said: “Chong’s injury was a huge blow for us, and he was missed badly. He was our main creator at the beginning of the season, and we looked dangerous with him. We were creating chances even in the games where we lost.”
“Four and a half months is a long time. His trickery made him a valuable player for us and saying we missed him would be an understatement.”
“When he is fully fit then he is even more exciting to watch. Even after coming back from a long-term injury, he was at his game from the beginning and I am delighted to see him score his first goal.”
Birmingham as a team is destined to finish in the mid-table finish even after their recent win. They are clear of the relegation battle but are far away from play-off spots.
