Carlo Ancelotti suggests Kylian Mbappe’s future has been resolved with Real Madrid transfer claim

Real Madrid News: Carlo Ancelotti has been tight-lipped on Real Madrid’s pursuit of Kylian Mbappe. The French attacker’s contract is coming to an end in the summer. Many reports are suggesting that he will play next season at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Last summer, Los Blancos made numerous mega-money approaches to entice Mbappe away from Paris Saint-Germain. However, the French club refused to move despite the huge money offered by the Spaniards. When the next transfer window opens, the Parisians will not have such clout.

This is because Mbappe’s current contract with PSG expires at the end of the season. This will allow the World Cup winner to sign with anybody he wants without interference from the PSG management.

Real Madrid is widely regarded as his favourite destination. Mbappe has made no secret of his passion for the 13-time Champions League champions.

Real Madrid’s efforts to sign Mbappe have been full of scandal. The directors from both clubs exchanged public barbs and claims of tapping upcoming from the French side. As the summer transfer window approaches, speculation about Mbappe’s future will intensify.

Ancelotti, who is back in charge of Real Madrid, was asked if Mbappe is on his way to the Bernabeu, but the Italian chose to sidestep the topic and instead laud the club president.

“This club’s future is at the top level, thanks to Florentino Perez,” the Los Blancos manager told Radio Rai.

“And it will continue to be in the following years, regardless of who comes in.” Some have taken his response as implying that Mbappe is still on his way, given Perez’s role in the pursuit of the World Cup champion.

However, some rumours claim that individuals close to Mbappe would prefer the striker to stay in Paris. PSG is eager to go to any length to keep Mbappe, even offering him a mega-money contract extension.

Real Madrid has a verbal agreement in place with the 23-year-old, but no paperwork has been completed yet. Mbappe, who has been in outstanding form all season, has not been distracted by the volume of commotion.

Real Madrid News: “Karim Benzema Became Better After Ronaldo’s Departure” ~ Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid News: Carlo Ancelotti sang praises of Karim Benzema recently. The Italian tactician went on to claim that the Frenchman became a more complete player and a leader following Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

Los Blancos have a possibility of winning three titles this season. Carlo Ancelotti’s side won their 35th LaLiga title in spectacular fashion. To add to this, Madrid also won the Supercopa de España trophy in January.

Following the historic and breathtaking turnaround against Manchester City, Real Madrid have reached another UEFA Champions League final. They would be taking on familiar foes Liverpool to settle the issue on 28th May 2022.

Karim Benzema would arguably be the most important Real Madrid player in the game. Carlo Ancelotti has now made a bold claim about the Frenchman putting it in accordance with Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure in 2018.

Real Madrid News: As per the Daily Mail, Carlo Ancelotti has made a bold claim about Karim Benzema. The Italian has claimed that the striker got better after the departure of the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo.

Carlo Ancelotti said, “I think Karim Benzema became a leader of the team when Ronaldo left because at that time he had more responsibility. Cristiano Ronaldo was a player that was scoring around 50 goals a season and without him, Madrid had more difficulties scoring goals.”

The Real Madrid manager would also add that Karim Benzema is not a striker but a “complete player”. He added the same for Luka Modric and claimed that the duo are the beacons of the club.

Carlo Ancelotti is certainly not a stranger to Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo’s partnership. The Italian was the Real Madrid manager between 2013 and 2015. Ancelotti also helped the club win the UEFA Champions League title in 2013/14.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored 450 goals in just 438 appearances for Real Madrid before leaving the club in 2018. The Portuguese icon has since played for Juventus before joining Manchester United last summer.

Karim Benzema on the other hand has become the focal point of Real Madrid’s attack since then. The Frenchman has scored 44 goals this season, 20 more than Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally at Manchester United. Nevertheless, both forwards shared a great bond in Madrid and have continued to do so since going different ways.

Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Joel Matip, and Trent Alexander-Arnold form a formidable backline for Liverpool. Hence Karim Benzema would have to be at his best if he is to score past the Reds and help Real Madrid win their 14th UEFA Champions League title later this month.

Peter Schmeichel spot on for slamming “poor” Real Madrid after Man City victory

Real Madrid News: Peter Schmeichel slammed Real Madrid this week. The former United goalkeeper claimed that Carlo Ancelotti’s side had “no right” to reach the Champions League final.

Rodrygo scored two goals in two stoppage-time minutes in the second leg of the semi-final to tie the game at 5-5 on aggregate.

Karim Benzema hammered home the winner from the penalty spot in extra time after drawing a foul from Ruben Dias, and his team held on for the most unlikely of victories.

In his post-match interview with CBS Sports, Schmeichel wasn’t shy about labelling Madrid “the poorest team by a mile” in both games.

He expressed himself as follows: “The first goal came in the 90th minute, the second goal came on the second attempt, and the third goal came on the third attempt. Real Madrid has no business being in the final. Over the two games, they were by far the worst team “

Man City was in complete control, but we talked about that one moment. We discussed how the stadium could serve as the 12th man. It was like they set the entire place on fire when they started the second half with that chance after only eight seconds.”

“I have to admit that I feel sad for Manchester City. Except for that goal in the 90th minute, I thought they played incredibly well and had everything under control.”

“But I’m talking about my God! Where did the name Real Madrid come from? I’m completely clueless.” He went on to say that “They were terrible. Only the match against Chelsea was enjoyable. Nothing about football makes sense to me now.”

The statistics back up Schmeichel’s assessment.

Schmeichel’s remarks, though, are not without value. Madrid was not only second best for much of the tie against Manchester City, but they were also outperformed by both PSG and Chelsea for extended periods of time.

This notion can be illustrated by looking at their Expected Goals (xG) stats from the competition’s knockout stages thus far. xG is a useful tool for assessing the quality of performances in addition to the final score. A greater xG for equals more high-quality chances, while a lower xG equals fewer quality chances.

Real Madrid had an xG of 7.8 minus penalties in their six knockout matches, according to @Caley graphics, yet scored 14 goals. That’s a huge outperformance, especially considering it was only six games.

They did it thanks to some excellent finishing, notably from Benzema, as well as a lot of luck. They scored two goals from their only two shots on target in the 90 minutes versus City on Wednesday night.

Leo Messi Texted Sergio Aguero After Real Madrid’s Third Goal; His Reaction Sums It All Up

Real Madrid once again did the unthinkable, when they came back from two goals down to take the tie against Manchester City into extra-time, where they managed to pull off a win. The game was great and produced four goals in total. The visitors had taken the lead at the Bernabeu in the second half and when all hope looked lost, Rodrygo decided to step up. This stunned two greats of the game, Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero.

Former City and Argentine striker, Aguero, who joined Barcelona in the final days of his career was watching the game on a live stream. He was with former Manchester United and City man Carlos Tevez. It seems that he had texted Messi when Real Madrid scored the third goal in the first half of extra time.

It was when Karim Benzema stepped up to take a spot-kick in the 95th minute of the game. It seems that Lionel Messi wasn’t watching the game. To add to that, this was when Aguero got a text from his former Argentine teammate, post that third goal.

Leo Messi, A Barca And Footballing Legend Couldn’t Believe What Had Just Happened

Messi, one of the best players in the world, could not believe that Real Madrid had scored the third goal. He thought Aguero was just fooling around with him and that was his response. It seemed that Messi was mocking his compatriot for taunting him at first, though eventually, he realized that the latter wasn’t lying.

Well, Real Madrid does have this effect on people, no matter who you are. This is not the first time that they have completed such a comeback in a footballing competition. It was a great game of football and Pep Guardiola and his men ended up yet again, on the wrong side of the fence. They just could not hold on and get the result that night.

And the ex-Barcelona man got to know that first hand once again, that it’s not done till the final whistle. Los Blancos will now face off against Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris on the 28th of May.
