Bundesliga Betting Tips and Best Bets

It is the final week of the Bundesliga this weekend, and a number of teams will be hoping to finish the season on a high. There are still European places up for grabs with the likes of RB Leipzig, Freiburg, Union Berlin and Koln all have a chance of making Europe.

Here is a look at our betting tips for this final Bundesliga weekend.

Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin: Erling Haaland to score 3 or more @ 15/2 on Virgin Bet

This will be Haaland’s last game in the famous yellow and black, so he will be wanting to sign off in style. Hertha Berlin are just above the relegation play-off spot and will be safe, despite for a big goal swing.

Expect Haaland to be in goalscoring form this weekend.

Wolfsburg vs Bayern Munich: Bayern Munich win and over 3.5 @ 6/5 on Virgin Bet

Bayern have already confirmed themselves as Bundesliga champions once again. They will want to finish the season on a high and continue their impressive goalscoring season that has seen them score 95 goals this campaign.

Like Dortmund, they look set to lose their main striker this summer. Robert Lewandowski has asked to leave the club this summer. He will want to finish off his time at Bayern by scoring.

Bielefeld vs RB Leipzig: Christopher Nkunku to score first @ 14/5 on Virgin Bet

The final selection comes from Bielefeld vs Red Bull. Nkunku has been in fine form this season, and there is interest in him from Europe’s elite clubs.

At 14/5 to score first, Nkunku is great odds to continue his goalscoring form this season.

Team vs Team betting tips

Leverkusen vs Freiburg: Freiburg win and BTTS @ 12/5 on Virgin Bet

Our top tip for match betting comes from the Leverkusen vs Freiburg game. Freiburg may still reach the Champions League, depending on Leipzig’s result.

Leverkusen are already in the Champions League next season, the pressure is off them this weekend. We expect Freiburg to be firing on all cylinders and to take three points away from this game, with both teams scoring.

Liverpool News: Jurgen Klopp has been an era-defining manager with the Reds. However, the German tactician has claimed that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have contacted him multiple times to become their new head coach.

The Reds have had a massive change of form and fortune since 2015. The credit for this needs to be given majorly to Jurgen Klopp as the former Borussia Dortmund manager has transformed the club into a European giant once again.

Proper transfers like that of Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, and Alisson Becker have helped Liverpool immensely. To add to this, Jurgen Klopp’s “Gegen Press” tactics with the overlapping wingers has certainly paid dividends.

Liverpool have won the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League among other competitions since Klopp’s arrival. They have a chance of doing the same this season as well in the next few days.

Liverpool News: As per the Liverpool Echo, Bayern Munich have made multiple attempts to sign Jurgen Klopp over the years. The Reds’ boss has himself admitted this in a recent interview.

Jurgen Klopp attended a press conference before the game against Chelsea. In this, the German manager was quizzed as to where he would prefer to manage next. To this, Klopp replied that he is best suited for Liverpool.

The Liverpool manager joked saying that he could join Manchester City once Pep Guardiola leaves. However, he then made a secret known to the press that Bayern Munich had approached him many times in the past few years.

Jurgen Klopp said, “I could have gone to Bayern Munich a few times, I could have won more titles in my life, pretty sure. But I didn’t do it as I had a contract with Liverpool.”

The former Borussia Dortmund manager’s move to Bayern Munich would have certainly created controversy. Over the years, Bayern have plucked out multiple “jewels” from their heated rivals. This has certainly not been well received by the Dortmund fans.

However, The Borussia Dortmund fans need not worry about seeing Jurgen Klopp in the Bayern Munich dugout anytime soon. The Liverpool manager has signed a new contract with the Reds until 2026. And as per Klopp, he is very happy with the Premier League club.

How many trophies can Klopp win in the next few games?

Barcelona news: Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Writz is one of the most exciting young footballers in the world at the moment.

Wirtz joined Leverkuson’s famous youth academy from FC Koln in 2020 before making his senior debut for the club the same year. He played 60 league games for the club so far, scoring 13 goals in the process.

The 19-year-old is in fine form this season, scoring seven and assisting 10 goals in 24 appearances so far. He also contributed three goals and four assists in six Europa league outings. Apart from that, he won the Bundesliga Player of the Season in September 2021.

His performances also impressed Germany’s head coach Hansi Flick, who handed him his first senior cap in September 2021. He has represented his country on four different occasions so far.

According to reports, Barcelona is eyeing up a move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Writz for the summer transfer window of 2023.

The youngster caught the attention with his performances at BayArena and is attracting interest from several big clubs across Europe. Apart from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Newcastle United have all shown interest in signing him in recent weeks.

However, the 19-year-old has a history of serious knee injuries. He suffered a horrible ACL injury in March 2021 which kept him out of action for several months. The Spanish club is reportedly wanting to scout him for one more season before deciding on signing him.

Florian Writz: Tactical profile

The German international is valued at £63 million by TransferMarket which makes him one of the most valuable teenagers in the world. He is a versatile footballer who is comfortable playing as a striker, attacking midfielder, or a central midfielder.

His key attributes are his dribbling and passing skills, which are also being clinical with his finishing.

According to WhoScored, he averaged 1.5 shots, 2.5 key passes, 2.3 dribbles, and 1 tackle per game in the Bundesliga this season. He also boasts a passing completion rate of 78.3 percent in the German top division.

What’s next?

Barcelona is lining up for a big transfer window after conceding the La Liga title to Real Madrid this season. The Blaugrana are currently 15 points behind their rivals with just four games left in the campaign.

They have reportedly already reached agreements with AC Milan’s Frank Kessie and Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen over a summer move. More arrivals are certainly on the cards, but they will have to make room for incoming players by selling their deadwood.

Gunners Informed Of The Price For Moussa Diaby

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal is making a determined attempt to get Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen. They are asking roughly €75 million for the star winger

Arsenal Transfer News: The Gunners are reportedly interested in signing Moussa Diaby in the summer, according to Sport Bild (via Sport Witness). The Gunners are reportedly making significant attempts to recruit the winger this summer.

For whatever reason, Bayer Leverkusen will not sell the striker for less than €75 million. This will cause anxiety for the north Londoners when a new transfer window opens.

Moussa Diaby has demonstrated remarkable consistency in putting in strong performances throughout several seasons. The French forward has developed a deadly side to his game.

It has resulted in him scoring 16 goals in all competitions so far this season, as well as providing 13 assists for teammates.

Arsenal Transfer News: Arsenal Informed About The Price For Moussa Diaby

Latest Arsenal News: Details about the interest

Diaby had a productive season in which he scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists in 43 games. The regularity of his performances has piqued the interest of many Premier League teams.

Liverpool was previously intrigued, as manager Jurgen Klopp was looking for a player to replace Mohamed Salah if the Egyptian left the club in the summer transfer window.

West Ham has also been linked with a transfer to Bayer Leverkusen. However, the German club’s €75 million asking price may have put the London club off. There is speculation that Arsenal is making significant attempts to acquire the French winger. It has pulled the Gunners’ name into the picture.

There are a variety of circumstances at Arsenal that might support the association with Diaby. Mikel Arteta is mainly interested in signing a striker. Several names have been suggested for the position.

The Gunners are also interested in signing a wide player, as manager Arteta wants to have a fluid attack in place before the start of the new season.

Will the move go through?

There’s no secret about Arteta’s intention to unload Nicolas Pepe. With the Ivorian set to go at the end of the season, there will be a gap in the wide attacking position at the club. The Gunners are on the lookout for a player who can operate on the left flank and compete with Gabriel Martinelli. He might also play centrally for the club in the next season.

In addition to Diaby, there are significant ties to PSV’s Cody Gakpo. He is a comparable alternative. Also, both of them are young and motivated. They both have a strong desire to achieve.

If Arsenal is successful in qualifying for the Champions League next season, their chances of acquiring a player of Diaby’s calibre will skyrocket significantly. The 22-year-old’s €75 million price tag, on the other hand, maybe too expensive for the north London titans.
