Robert Lewandowski Has Handed Bayern Munich A Transfer Request TO MOVE TO BARCELONA

Published

on

  • Barcelona’s pursuit of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski appears to be gaining up speed.
  • Barcelona’s director held a meeting with Lewandowski’s agent and has offered him an intriguing contract.
  • Lewandowski’s agent is in Munich today to address the star forward’s contract predicament.

Another twist in Robert Lewandowski transfer news. Barcelona are pushing hard to strike a deal with Robert Lewandowski’s agent in order to bring him to Camp Nou.

The 33-year-old is in the final year of his contract with Bayern Munich and wants to leave this summer. With the Catalan giants eager to sign him, Barça has emerged as the striker’s most likely destination.

Joan Laporta, the club’s president, is said to be desperate to sign Lewandowski. Even though Bayern Munich and the prolific striker are expected to hold contract discussions, Barcelona is keeping a close eye on the situation and is ready to strike.

It is also reported that the Polish international is highly interested in joining Barcelona to seek a new challenge.

The Blaugrana had previously been reported to have held conversations with Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi.

However, writer and transfer analyst Gerard Romero claims that Barcelona director Mateu Alemany met with Zahavi again on Wednesday night at a restaurant in Barcelona.

Romero also said that the two parties talked about the financial implications of bringing Lewandowski to Camp Nou at the conclusion of the season.

According to the transfer specialist, Barcelona has informed Zahavi that they are prepared to pay roughly €30-35 million to sign Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.

Furthermore, Barcelona are ready to offer a two-year contract to Robert Lewandowski with an option of extension. That essentially means Barcelona are ready to accept Lewandowski’s demands in the contract.

Barcelona are also allegedly urging Zahavi and Lewandowski to exert pressure on Bayern Munich to allow him to leave during the summer transfer window.

The 33-year-old Polish striker has had another productive season, demonstrating that despite his advanced years, he still has enough to contribute at the greatest level.

Robert Lewandowski has the potential to be a valuable acquisition for Barcelona, but it remains to be seen whether Barcelona’s efforts to sign him will bear fruit.

Pini Zahavi’s Meeting With Bayern Munich’s Officials

A meeting was held between Bayern Munich’s officials and Lewandowski’s agent in order to discuss the future of the Polish striker.

Pini Zahavi, Lewandowski’s agent, is in Munich today to address the star forward’s contract predicament.

According to RMC Sport, Lewandowski wants to leave the club, and Zahavi is expected to request a move.

Lewandowski’s illustrious eight-year stay at Bayern Munich appears to be coming to an end, with a move to La Liga on the cards.

The Polish international hinted last month to Sky Sports Germany that he might be open to leaving Bayern at the end of the season.

“I am open to everything,” the Pole said.

“I’m quiet. It is important for me to be able to focus on my game, always on what can happen in the last match.

“Everything that remains to be done regarding contracts is a secondary issue and remains in the background.”

The German champions, on the other hand, made it crystal clear in a discussion that lasted more than two hours that they will not be selling the striker at any price.

More discussions between the two sides are planned to discuss the experienced striker’s new deal. Bayern Munich will try to keep Robert Lewandowski until 2023 when his current contract expires.

This is a huge setback for Barça, who met with Pini Zahavi on Wednesday to discuss a possible transfer. Bayern Munich’s attitude has caused a significant issue for the Blaugrana.

According to the reports, no final decisions have been made yet, and Bayern executives and Zahavi will meet again.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Bavarians are prepared to change their minds.

Robert Lewandowski agent issues a furious transfer ultimatum to the club after Haaland plot

Bayern Munich News: Robert Lewandowski’s agent has accused Bayern Munich of wanting to replace him with Erling Haaland by blocking his client from leaving the club this summer.

The 33-year-old, who has just over a year left on his current Bayern contract, has been linked with a lucrative move to Barcelona in recent weeks and is anxious to leave the Allianz Arena as soon as possible.

Bayern Munich, on the other hand, is adamant on keeping hold of the striker, who has scored 48 goals for the German champions this season.

After Bayern boss Oliver Kahn stated that the Polish striker will not be allowed to leave the club this summer, Lewandowski’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has slammed the Bundesliga champions and urged them to enable Lewandowski to complete his ‘dream move’ after eight years of outstanding service in Munich.

For Lewandowski, Bayern is history,” Zahavi remarked in an explosive interview with BILD. Bayern made no offer for Lewandowski to sign a new contract. After eight years, he simply wants to quit the club. He’s 34 and wants to realise his ambition

We don’t care about the money because he wants to depart this summer. For some months, he hasn’t felt respected by the board. Bayern lost Robert as a footballer as well as a person.

“Robert now has the opportunity to join the club of his dreams. Why is Bayern refusing to give him this chance?”

“I had no intention of speaking in front of an audience. I have a lot of respect for Bayern Munich, but I couldn’t help but react to the club’s recent words.”

Barcelona has reportedly made a £25 million proposal for the legendary forward, according to German publication Sport1. However, the German giants are determined to keep Lewandowski in Bavaria until his contract expires.

However, Zahavi has warned Bayern against forcing his client to finish the final year of his contract in Germany, claiming that the club is going to replace Lewandowski with Haaland this summer.

Manchester City’s £51 million deal for Borussia Dortmund’s star player was announced earlier this month. Haaland will play for Manchester United, following in his father’s footsteps.

“Yes, they may keep the player for another year,” Zahavi remarked, “but that’s not something I recommend. Lewandowski is a wise man who was aware of what was going on around him as well as Bayern’s plans. He was well aware that Haaland would be his replacement at the club.”

Bayern Munich News: The club’s chief executive, Oliver Kahn, has declared that neither he nor the German champions are willing to let striker Robert Lewandowski leave before his contract expires next summer.

The Polish international has been with the Baverian giants for the last eight years. He has score 238 goals in 253 Bundesliga games for the club. He has been a part of the Bayern side that has won last 10 Bundesliga’s. However, his contract with the club is set to expire in the summer of 2023.

Lewandowski won the Golden Boot award six times in Germany’s top division during this time period. However, he has already expressed his intention to leave the Allianz Arena after next season.

The veteran has been extensively linked with a summer transfer swap after expressing his desire to leave the German side. Barcelona has been heavily connected with a move for the attacker, while Chelsea has also been mentioned recently.

However, when asked about Lewandowski’s future, Kahn. dismissed the topic of how much it would cost to let him depart this summer. He was confident that the star striker will stay until the end of his contract.

Kahn told Welt, “This is not a question. Robert Lewandowski is under contract until 2023, and he aims to keep it.” Despite the statements, Lewandowski is reportedly planning a summer transfer to Barcelona.

Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga this season by eight points over Lewandowski’s former team, Borussia Dortmund, who finished second.

Lewandowski scored 35 league goals in in 34 league appearances this season. During the 2020/21 Bundesliga season, he scored 41 goals in only 29 league appearances, which is his second-highest total in the league.

Erling Haaland of Dortmund finished third in the Bundesliga scoring chart this season, with 22 league goals. However, after signing for Manchester City for £51.2 million earlier this month, Haaland will be playing outside of Germany’s top tier next season.
