On The Verge Of Signing Dylan Williams

Chelsea Transfer News: Chelsea is supposedly on the approach of signing Dylan Williams, an 18-year-old English wonderkid, to a contract this month, according to reports.

According to an exclusive story by The Sun, Dylan Williams is on the verge of completing his dream transfer to Chelsea during the current transfer window. Although the 18-year-old English defensive wonderkid will be allocated to the Blues’ under-23 team, the 18-year-old defender will be the club’s first signing this month.

Dylan Williams has only been at Derby County for a short period. But he has already had an impact on the team. Having joined the Championship club from Wolverhampton Wanderers as a teenager, the youthful prodigy has progressed quickly through the ranks. He has made his first-team debut in January 2021.

Since then, the 18-year-old has made a total of eight further appearances for Derby County. All of which have come during the current campaign.

The English left-back is a modern-day full-back who is strong defensively while also being a danger in the final third. Those characteristics might be put to use at a team like Chelsea. They have agreed to sign him this month after completing a deal.

Because of Ben Chilwell’s long-term knee injury, the West Londoners have been obliged to join the market for a left-wing-back this month. Chilwell’s absence has left Thomas Tuchel with Marcos Alonso as the sole logical option on the left wing, leaving him with little other choices than to use him.

Even though Kenedy has been returned from his loan stint with Flamengo, Tuchel is unlikely to make much use of the Brazilian.

Chelsea Transfer News: What will he bring to the table?

The Chelsea manager has been keen on bringing Emerson Palmieri back to Stamford Bridge from Lyon. But the Blues’ efforts have so far failed to bear fruit. The French club is reluctant to conclude the Italian international’s loan early.

As a result, the Premier League’s heavyweights have been forced to dip their toes into the market for a left wing-back. Lucas Digne is one of their first target players. Digne, on the other hand, just joined Aston Villa, prompting Chelsea to look for alternatives. Borna Sosa of Stuttgart is the latest left-back to be linked with a move to the club. Currently, they are in talks to sign Dylan Williams.

What Derby County manager said:

In a statement, Derby County manager Paul Jewell stated, “We have negotiated a price with a Premier League team for Dylan Williams, which is still being finalised as we speak. Given that I felt I couldn’t turn down the chance, this is a choice I made rather than one made by the club administration. After chatting with the youngster, I concluded that I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to give a young boy the chance to play in the Premier League.

I am not aware of the amount of the price; it has been agreed upon between the other club and the administration. I took charge of the situation and said that I wanted to meet with the player to find out how he felt about the situation. It is a tremendous chance for the player, which I recognise. As a result, I was delighted when he decided to leave the club to pursue a fresh opportunity elsewhere.”

Despite his impressive performances for Derby County’s first squad, Williams will most likely be allocated to Chelsea’s under-23 team. Chelsea will need to recruit another left-wing-back for their senior squad, with Layvin Kurzawa also on their list of potential targets.

Koulibaly addresses rumours with Chelsea linked

Chelsea transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly has opened up on his Napoli future amid speculation that there will be some offers in the transfer window

It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel could be losing a whole host of defenders at the end of the season as a number of stars are out of contract, meaning that the German will need to bring in a few more players

Antonio Rudiger is the man that Chelsea will need to replace when he departs the club at the end of the season after he failed to agree a new contract at the Bridge – despite months of talks

And Koulibaly is a name that many Chelsea fans are familiar with, as the club have been linked with a move for the powerhouse for the last few seasons and are still interested in getting a deal done

And the latest suggestion is that Chelsea have made contact with his Serie A club about a possible £50 million deal.

Now – amid all the speculation – Koulibaly has opened up and addresses all the speculation that he could finally be leaving the Italian giants at the end of the current season.

Koulibaly told Onze Mondial: “I would not cause an argument to leave the club. If I ever did leave Napoli, I would do it on my terms.

“There would be no argument and I would speak to the president. He tries to listen to the fans who don’t want me go and every time has asked for a fee that was too high.”

IcFootballnews View…

Tuchel must have a big shopping list of players that he wants to bring to the club as there are already lots of names linked

Koulibaly is a man that is made for the Premier League and this may be his chance to prove himself in the English game – so if the reports are true – he could be a great partner for Thiago Silva

The man is great in the air, quick, powerful and can hold his own when it comes downs to playing out from the back – so as we said – he could be a great signing for the Premier League

Lewandowski – Gakpo – Jorginho feature in Chelsea news of the day

Chelsea told hold Lewandowski talks – Gakpo interested in move – Italian flies in to complete Jorginho deal in Chelsea news of the day…

PSV ace Cody Gakpo has revealed he’s open to a transfer if he’s guaranteed regular football amid interest from Chelsea.

It is no secret in the media Romelu Lukaku could be heading out of Chelseain the transfer after failing to impress like many had hoped and scored the goals that Thomas Tuchel needed.

And that has led to many reports in the media that Chelsea are very much interested in a deal for Gakpo, who is fast becoming one of the most sought after young players in Europe right now

The winger, who mainly operates on the left, has hit 21 goals in all competitions for the Eindhoven club this season, and has also provided 16 assists and his performances is attracting all sorts of interest

Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the Dutch star – who has recently broken into the national team – but Gakpo doesn’t want the risk of being sat on the bench of a foreign club ahead of November’s World Cup

Gakpo declared he’s yet to make a decision on his future this summer – but has now admitted that anything can happen in the coming transfer window – Gakpo told De Telegraaf: “Anything can happen this summer. I will now calmly compare all the options and see what is best for me. Staying another year is also an option.

“It would be a shame if I went somewhere where I wouldn’t get a [game] at all and I could miss the World Cup. I’ll keep that in mind.”

IcFootballnews View…

Look, if Chelsea do decide to make a move and make a serious offer to the Dutch giants, it would be very hard for Gakpo to turn down such a move to a club that is one of the biggest in Europe.

He is a real talent and a real source of goals – so he would definitely bring something to this Blues side – who have been lacking goals in recent weeks

But they will need to make sure that they get him for the right amount of money guys

Lewandowski talks to happen…

It has been again claimed that Chelsea will be looking to hand Robert Lewandowski a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer

There is no doubt in world football that Lewandowski is the best striker in the game right now and a man that has just broken all sorts of records since he joined Bayern Munich way back in 2014

Having smashed 48 goals in 40 appearances last term, he has already surpassed that mark this season and he helped the German giants to record their 10th consecutive Bundesliga crown

The striker’s current deal runs until the end of next season, but he has already decided he wants to leave the club and could be sold before his contract expires as Bayern want to make some money on him

Chelsea will be in the market for a new striker and have been heavily linked with a move for the player in recent seasons – but he has never shown any desire to leave the Germans – and that is why a deal have never happened

But with a new owner coming in – money will need to be spent – and icfootballnews has now learned that Chelsea will be one of the clubs that will hold talks with Lewandowski about a possible transfer deal

The Blues are one of a handful of clubs that can offer him that £500,000-a-week wages that he wants – with the likes of PSG – Barcelona – Real Madrid and Man United the only real contenders for the signature of the man

Amid all the speculation surrounding the player – where he will go – what clubs will be interested – and how much he wants in wages – ex-Star Glen Johnson recently opened up and told Thomas Tuchel that he should make a move for the footballing superstar

The ex-full-back said, “He is a more realistic signing, but these top, world-class strikers are hard to find.

“For his age and the possibility of the deal actually happening, I’d say Chelsea should sign Lewandowski.”

IcFootballnews View…

Lewandowski may not be the youngest of players these days – but he is one of the best players in world football and adding him to the squad would pretty much guarantee 30-extra goals a season

He will still cost alot of money – and he would command around £500,000-a-week – but we would love to see him in the Premier League guys that is for certain

How good would he be at Chelsea?

Jorginho to leave…

Juventus chief Federico Cherubini has reportedly arrived in London as he looks to secure a deal for Chelsea star Jorginho.

Jorginho has enjoyed a superb couple of years for club and country, starring in Chelsea’s Champions League win and Italy’s European Championships triumph in 2021, with his performances earning him a Ballon d’Or nomination.

However, there has been alot of speculation that he could depart the club at the end of the season, and a move back to Italy has been mooted for the midfielder, meaning that Thomas Tuchel would need an immediate replacement.

Italian giants Juventus appear to have won the race to sign Manchester United’s Paul Pogba on a free transfer when the Frenchman’s contract expires next month – and the 29-year-old could be lining-up alongside Jorginho when he returns to Turin next term.

Todd Boehly’s consortium hope to complete their takeover of Chelsea by the end of the month, which will finally allow them to get back in the game transfer wise – but a big-name departure could be the first topic of conversation, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

They state that Juventus have made Italy international midfielder Jorginho, 30, one of their top targets and have now begun their attempt to get him.

And the report goes on to add that the Juve Chief has arrived in the UK to complete a £40 million deal for the Italian midfielder.

IcFootballnews View…

There has been so many occasions in the past that Jorginho has shown a desire to leave Chelsea and head back to Italian football – so it is easy to see why now would be the perfect time for him to leave

Chelsea may not want him to leave and will do everything they can to make sure that he stays – but at the end of the day – if he wants out – just let him go

There are plenty of replacements out there that Chelsea could sign

Premier League Predictions and Odds

Chelsea will close out their Premier League season against Watford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and we’re expecting multiple changes from both sides for the 38th and final game of this campaign.

Best Football Betting Offers

Chelsea vs Watford Betting Tips

The final day of the Premier League season is upon us, and with nothing left to play for in this encounter we’re expecting a low scoring game but Chelsea to find a way to victory.

Even with a heavily rotated side, we can expect this matchup to be a walk in the park for the hosts against a depleted and disorganised Watford team.

This season’s earlier meeting between the pair was a close match, finishing 2-1 to Chelsea after Hakim Ziyech’s 72nd minute winner at Vicarage Road.

Chelsea have won their last five games against the Hornets, dating back to December 2018 with an average of 2.4 goals scored per game.

This should be a comfortable victory for the hosts, and one that they can enjoy as the Blues say farewell to the Stamford Bridge faithful for another season.

Chelsea vs Watford Predictions

Our prediction for this one is a 2-0 win for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

With no pressure on the shoulders of Chelsea to perform, we expect a free-flowing game which can allow the Blues to get in a comfortable rhythm and play the game at their own pace.

Premier League final day encounters when there’s nothing at stake are usually quite a dull 90 minutes but with some energetic football underneath the London sunshine at the Bridge, the supporters may be leaving with a smile on their faces.

At 11/2 we believe this is a fantastic price for a likely outcome, and one that you should definitely consider ahead of kick-off on Sunday afternoon.
