Matt judge resignation will change Manchester United’s transfer strategy – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United’s chief negotiator Matt Judge resigned earlier today.
He was brought in by the club along with Ed Woodward in 2012, from JP Morgan.
Judge was responsible for transfer negotiations and contract renewals since 2014.
He was described by former United manager Louis van Gaal as Woodward’s right-hand man.
Judge was responsible for sounding out players’ agents and negotiating contracts during transfer season.
He will now not be involved in this summer’s transfer business.
United could see this as a change in direction, and a new step towards modernisation.
The Telegraph report that the club are already working to find a suitable replacement to handle transfer dealings.
After the sacking of the chief scouts Jim Lawlor and Marcel Bout, this is a huge step taken toward structurally changing the club.
It is strategically been led by United’s Director of Football John Murtough, after consulting Ralf Rangnick.
United fans should be excited as the club is finally moving in a positive direction.
The summer of 2022 could be one of the most important in the club’s history, with a massive squad overhaul likely to take place.
Rangnick mentioned that the club would change their strategy of signing marquee players to that of signing young and hungry players willing to improve the team.

Erik ten Hag gives his first interview as Manchester United manager – Man United News And Transfer News

Erik ten Hag has given his first interview as Manchester United manager.
The Dutchman will take over as permanent manager after the end of the interim spell under Ralf Rangnick.
In the interview with MUTV, Ten Hag said that he is excited to join United, and is looking forward to bringing the club back where it belongs.
“I would say the word ‘exciting’. I really look forward to doing this job, at this club with massive history, and we want to restore it where it belongs.”
“First of all, we want to make the fans proud. Second, of course we are in this moment, the current situation is obviously not that good.”
‘It’s a big challenge. I want to build and construct a team who are battling for each other, who are unified and who will get results.”
“Also we are playing in the Theatre of Dreams.”
“We want to entertain. But in the end, the intention is to play fantastic football. If we can’t play fantastic football, we still have to win.”
Man Utd fans will be very excited by Ten Hag’s comments regarding style of play.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson‘s retirement, many have complained about United adopting a negative approach to most matches.
The 52 year old is known for his exciting brand of football which could be seen at Ajax.
He went on to say:
“I’m coming over to meet people and to roll out the strategy, to prepare pre-season, prepare staff and prepare a squad.”
“It’s first: accept the current situation but also know one year ago, this club, this team was second in the Premier League.”
“There’s potential and now it’s up to us to get that out. It’s a process, it will take time but I’m convinced we will come to that point where we get success.”
‘We have to work hard and it has to be based on the right philosophy and strategy.”
“I live by the day. I give my best and I make my decisions based on clearness and logic. We need a good concept and we need the right people around.”
“We give everything we have, every day, then we will get success. Then you see where you end up. Live by the day and focus on titles and don’t dream about other things that can happen in the future.”

Cristiano Ronaldo to miss Crystal Palace game due to injury

Manchester United News: Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to miss Manchester United’s final match of the season, against Crystal Palace, due to a hip flexor injury.
United are aware that a loss would allow West Ham to jump them into seventh position if the Hammers beat Brighton at the Amex.
If David Moyes’ side can get one over on his former club, United will be relegated to the Europa Conference League, a scathing reflection of the club’s terrible season.
Ronaldo has already played his final match for United this season. The striker will not be present at Selhurst Park owing to the knock, according to The Athletic. As a result, he will not be monitored by new manager Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman has already arrived in London to begin his preparations for life as United manager. On Sunday afternoon he will see his future squad in action for the first time.
Ten Hag, on the other hand, will not be on the sidelines. Ralf Rangnick will be in the hot seat till the end of his interim reign after the final whistle.
This isn’t the first time Ronaldo has missed a game due to a hip flexor injury this season. However, the Portugal captain has had an outstanding individual season. He finished the season as the club’s leading scorer with 18 goals in 30 Premier League appearances.
Some have questioned if Ten Hag would regard a player with Ronaldo’s style. However, both the player as well as the manager have shown excitement to work with each other.
Any speculation about a possible exit for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been put to rest. Both Ronaldo and Ten Hag have openly praised each other and looking forward to the next season.
What did Ten Hag and Ronaldo have to say about one another?

Ten Hag dubbed Ronaldo a “giant” of the game and said: “I can’t wait to work with him,. Whereas United’s legendary number seven said he was excited to work with the new boss. He but that he would need time to work and adopt his football philosophy.
“What I know about him is that he performed an excellent job for Ajax and that he’s an experienced coach,” Ronaldo told United’s internal media. “But we must give him space. Things must alter in his favour.“
Paul Pogba is also slated to miss the game against the Eagles. This indicates that the injured and out of form midfielder has likely played his final game for United. The most likely destination appears to be Juventus, where he spent four years between his two stints at United.
