Manchester United Transfer News: Juventus Wants Anthony Martial

Published

on

Manchester United Transfer News: The Premier League champions Manchester United is allegedly in negotiations with Juventus about a possible January transfer for Anthony Martial.

According to Fichajes, Juventus and Manchester United are progressing in their negotiations for the signing of Anthony Martial. The attacker has emerged as a priority target for Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.

He has urged the club’s board of directors to sign him during the current January transfer window. The two teams have already begun discussions. The French striker might be on his way to the Allianz Stadium in the not-too-distant future.

Recent rumours have stated that Anthony Martial is interested in a move to Juventus as he seeks to complete his departure from Manchester United.

The striker hopes to resurrect his career by relocating and gaining consistent playing time in a different league. Turin looks to be the most likely destination, according to the latest indications.

Juventus’ interest in signing Anthony Martial is motivated by the recent injury to Federico Chiesa. The Italian international has been ruled out for an extended length of time after suffering ACL damage in training.

As a result, Allegri will suffer a significant blow, as he is already short of trustworthy alternatives in the attacking third. Particularly in light of the uncertainty surrounding the futures of Aaron Ramsey and Dejan Kulusevski.

Manchester United Transfer News: What is in store in Anthony Martial’s future?

In terms of attacking ability, Martial isn’t the most gifted player in Europe. Meanwhile, having fallen behind the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Mason Greenwood in the pecking order, the Frenchman has nothing to lose by seeking redemption away from Manchester United.

At Juventus, the former AS Monaco striker will have the chance to compete with Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata for the position of the first-choice attacker. With consistent playing time, he will have a better chance of regaining his former form. Then, maybe sneaking into the French team for the next FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

Meanwhile, Manchester United itself will not be opposed to the release of Martial. It would free up a significant portion of their pay budgets in the process. The team should also be able to bring in some new blood during the January transfer window as a result of this.

United have lately shown an interest in Athletic Bilbao’s emerging star Nico Williams. However, it is unclear if the youngster would be made available to them this month or next.

While a permanent transfer to Juventus is unlikely, a loan deal for Martial is possible. The Serie A giants are anxious to add an offensive reinforcement to their ranks.

Liverpool vs Wolves, LIV vs WOL Live in the Premier League, Match Preview, Squad News, Predicted Line Ups, follow for Live Updates. The Premier League title’s destination is not in the hands of the Reds but they must defeat Wolves to have a shot at the trophy.

LIV vs WOL Live: When and Where?

Liverpool will be playing Wolves at 8:30 PM (IST). The game will be played on 22nd May 2022 at the Anfield stadium.

LIV vs WOL Live Streaming

The match will be available for the viewers on the Star Network. It will also be streamed LIVE on Jio TV and on the Disney+ Hotstar application.

LIV vs WOL Live: Match Preview

It is potentially the most difficult game for the Reds in their daring pursuit of the quadruple. They have already secured two trophies the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. However, the final game of the season will be difficult as the destiny of the title is not in their hands.

Liverpool will need help from their former beloved hero Steven Gerrard. The Englishman is now the manager at Aston Villa and they face Manchester City in the final defeat. Even if the Villains succeed in getting a draw, the Reds will have a shot at the title.

However, Wolves can’t be underestimated as well. In comparison to Aston Villa, they are far more likely to get something from Anfield. They have already beaten Tottenham Hotspur while Chelsea managed only a draw in two meetings this season. Thus in the grand scheme of plans, the Reds must do their job of winning at home.

LIV vs WOL Live: Squad News

Liverpool

It is not clear whether Jurgen Klopp will risk Mohammad Salah and Virgil Van Dijk ahead of the game. While Fabinho and Joe Gomez both have been ruled out for the game.

Wolves

The away side will be without the trio of Max Kilman, Romain Saiss and Nelson Semedo.

LIV vs WOL Live: Predicted LineUps

Liverpool: Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Ibrahim Konate, Andy Robertson, Naby Keita, Thiago Alcantara, Jordan Henderson, Luis Diaz, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota.

Wolves: Jose Sa, Willy Boly, Conor Cody, Amir Nouri, Jonny, Leander Dendoncker, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Rayan Nouri, Fabio Silva, Hee-Chan Hwang.

Head to Head

Jurgen Klopp vs Bruno Lage

The German and the Portuguese have been in opposite dugouts only once. The Liverpool manager emerged victorious from that game.

LIV vs WOL Live: Players to watch out for

Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Although Luis Diaz has been in the headlines for his performances but Mane will be the key player in this game. Mo Salah might not be available, while Diaz still needs to work on his finishing. In such a situation the Reds will need goals and Mane will be the best outlet for them to get the goals.

Joao Moutinho (Wolves)

The experienced Portuguese will have to navigate his side in the midfield. The home side will press in packs to win the ball higher up the pitch. In such tight spaces, Moutinho will have to find his teammates in spaces. Also due to his seniority, other players will also be looking toward him for inspiration.

It is not the first time Jurgen Klopp’s men are facing such a situation. In recent times they have also shown that they have the necessary squad depth as well. Thus they should get the three points in this game.

Chelsea vs Watford Betting Tips

The final day of the Premier League season is upon us, and with nothing left to play for in this encounter we’re expecting a low scoring game but Chelsea to find a way to victory.

Even with a heavily rotated side, we can expect this matchup to be a walk in the park for the hosts against a depleted and disorganised Watford team.

This season’s earlier meeting between the pair was a close match, finishing 2-1 to Chelsea after Hakim Ziyech’s 72nd minute winner at Vicarage Road.

Chelsea have won their last five games against the Hornets, dating back to December 2018 with an average of 2.4 goals scored per game.

This should be a comfortable victory for the hosts, and one that they can enjoy as the Blues say farewell to the Stamford Bridge faithful for another season.

Chelsea vs Watford Predictions

Our prediction for this one is a 2-0 win for Thomas Tuchel’s side.

With no pressure on the shoulders of Chelsea to perform, we expect a free-flowing game which can allow the Blues to get in a comfortable rhythm and play the game at their own pace.

Premier League final day encounters when there’s nothing at stake are usually quite a dull 90 minutes but with some energetic football underneath the London sunshine at the Bridge, the supporters may be leaving with a smile on their faces.

At 11/2 we believe this is a fantastic price for a likely outcome, and one that you should definitely consider ahead of kick-off on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils Face Competition For Antony

Manchester United Transfer News: Paris Saint-Germain would give Liverpool and Manchester United a run for their money in the competition to recruit Antony as a player

Manchester United Transfer News: Paris Saint-Germain is planning to up their efforts in their chase of Antony in the next season. The French champions are desperate to recruit a top-quality striker despite the uncertainty surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s future. The young youngster from Ajax has emerged as the best choice for them to pursue.

PSG’s board of directors has discussed with Antony’s representatives many times the prospect of the player making a transfer to Parc des Princes after the current campaign.

PSG, on the other hand, can expect to face tough competition from teams in the Premier League. Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in joining in the pursuit.

Antony, who moved to Ajax from Sao Paulo, has emerged as one of the most promising young players in Brazilian football since making the switch. The winger has only made 79 appearances in competitive games for the club.

Manchester United Transfer News: Stunning record with Ajax

Manchester United Transfer News: The Red Devils Face Competition For Antony

But he has already been involved in the scoring of 42 goals. He has impressed observers with his energy, speed, and the ease with which he can get past defenders.

The flare shown by the 22-year-old player has made him an attractive prospect for a club like PSG. They are presently searching for an elite attacker to add to their roster. Kylian Mbappe is widely expected to sign with Real Madrid after the current campaign. As a result, the Parisian juggernaut is in danger of losing Mbappe.

In addition to Mbappe, it seems probable that Angel Di Maria will leave PSG as well. Players such as Georginio Wijnaldum and Julian Draxler also have an unclear future with the club. PSG has been searching for a new attacker. So, this is where Antony enters the fight.

Even Liverpool is going through the same kind of trouble right now. The Reds are in a dogfight to maintain Sadio Mane as a player due to competition from both Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Liverpool not sure about Salah’s extension

The situation of Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has not been clarified. The Egyptian’s present contract will be terminated after the next season.

However, the source implies that PSG and Liverpool’s efforts to recruit Antony might go to a dead end. Manchester United is the clear favorite to sign the Brazilian player.

The player, after all, has a fantastic connection with Erik ten Hag. He will be taking over as manager of Manchester United next season. The Dutchman is looking forward to a reunion with the player at Old Trafford.

Recent reports suggest that Marcus Rashford may be leaving Old Trafford for another club. So, Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing Antony as a straight replacement for the English player. Mason Greenwood was given an indefinite suspension earlier this year.

Antony has the potential to fill the void left by Greenwood and help Manchester United fill a massive void in the offensive department. This would help Manchester United beat out Liverpool and PSG in their pursuit of Antony’s signature.
