Florentino Perez wants Cristiano Ronaldo back!

Published

Real Madrid News: Cristiano Ronaldo made his return to Manchester United last summer. But as per reports, the Spanish giants want him back at the Santiago Bernabeu before the start of the 2022/23 season.

The Portuguese international left Juventus last summer to return to Manchester United. Ronaldo made his return to Old Trafford after spending a combined 12 seasons away at Real Madrid and Juventus.

But the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s return has not been very fruitful. The Red Devils have been knocked out of every cup competition. To add to this, the Manchester-based club is also likely to miss out on the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Manchester United management has decided to bring in Erik Ten Hag as their new head coach. With a lot of changes expected at the helm, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future with United is also in doubt!

Real Madrid News: As per the Daily Star, Los Blancos are looking to possibly sign Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer. The Portuguese international is not very happy at Manchester United and could prefer moving back to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Cristiano Ronaldo has already made it clear that he is not happy at Manchester United. As stated earlier, The Red Devils have had a horrific season and the Portuguese international is not happy with the club’s management.

Manchester United’s iconic number seven has scored 23 goals in 36 appearances for the Premier League club. The 37-year-old is the club’s top scorer but his team’s quality has certainly not been up to the mark. Rumours have also suggested that Manchester United would be willing to let him go in the summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo signed a two-year deal with Manchester United last summer. Hence Real Madrid would have to pay a transfer fee to sign the striker. As per reports, the Spanish giants would be willing to pay up to £10 million to sign their star back.

The Portuguese superstar is certainly no stranger to Real Madrid. He is arguably the club’s best-ever player and their all-time top scorer with 450 goals in just 438 appearances in all competitions.

As per the report, Real Madrid are ready to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a decent playing time if he joins in the summer. Hence, this could be a very good offer for the 37-year-old superstar.

Should Florentino Perez bring back Ronaldo?

Real Madrid News: Bringing back Cristiano Ronaldo would certainly make the fans happy. But bringing back their former hero could interfere with the direction that the club is progressing in.

With Vinicius and Karim Benzema playing at their best, introducing Cristiano Ronaldo would mean that one of the players would have to be benched. But signing the Manchester United star would make sense if Real Madrid misses out on Kylian Mbappe. Hence it has to be seen what Florentino Perez decides to do in the coming days.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Betting Tips: Premier League Predictions and Odds

Manchester United fans across the globe will be letting out a collective sigh of relief after the full-time whistle at Selhurst Park on Sunday to mark the end of a disappointing and underachieving season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Betting Tips

At 37-years-old and in his second Premier League stint, Cristiano Ronaldo continues to show no signs of slowing down with 18 goals in the league so far this season – the third highest, behind only Mohamed Salah and Heung-Min Son.

Despite being painted as a scapegoat for United’s struggles by fans throughout the year, Ronaldo has came up clutch time and time again when his team needed it.

Two hat-tricks in just over the last two months have taken Ronaldo’s goal tally to 24 goals and three assists in 39 appearances across all competitions this season, not bad for a player who is supposedly ‘finished’.

We’re tipping Ronaldo to end his season on a high note and break the seal at Selhurst Park on Sunday, in what could be a huge victory for United’s hopes of playing Europa League football next season.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Predictions

To avoid falling into seventh and right into the Europa Conference League competition next season, Ralf Rangnick needs his final game in charge as interim manager to be a victory.

Despite Europa League football not being terribly ideal either, United would much prefer to play in the Europa on Thursday nights with less travelling required than what is normal in the Conference.

Looking at how the visitors stack up against Palace on paper, it really isn’t a debate – the Reds should be hitting their opponents for at least three or four, but nothing has exactly gone to plan for United this season.

However, Manchester United have a flawless record at Selhurst Park and have not lost there since the formation of the Premier League in 1992 – seven wins and four draws in eleven games.

Under the management of Louis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United have won four of their last five away at Palace scoring a combined ten goals and conceding just four in that period.

We’re tipping United to continue their brilliant record in South London and secure a spot in next season’s Europa League competition and send West Ham to the Conference League.

[WATCH] The Day Cristiano Ronaldo Finally Got His Revenge Against Lionel Messi and Barcelona

The rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi is one for the history books. One can say that it is the biggest rivalry in sports history. Another rivalry for the record books is that of Barcelona and Real Madrid. The match between the Spanish arch rivals, the El Clasico, is the most watched game in the world.

No matter how the season is going for either Real Madrid or Barcelona, the players put everything in this game in order to get the edge over their rivals. It has always been an interesting match in between Real Madrid and Barcelona, as Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo also get to have a go against each other.

Just months after Lionel Messi scored the winner against Real Madrid in the Bernabeu during the final minute, Cristiano Ronaldo had a chance to take his revenge. After being mocked heavily after that game, Ronaldo was fueled up for the the Spanish Super Cup first leg.tie against Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored and was then sent off as Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1 in the Spanish Super Cup first leg. Gerard Pique slid Marcelo’s cross into his own net before Lionel Messi leveled the equation with a penalty.

Ronaldo, who was a substitute, restored Real Madrid’s lead when he ran from halfway before smashing an effort home. He was booked for taking off his shirt to celebrate and shown a second yellow shortly after for a dive – before Marco Asensio scored Real’s excellent third.

The Day Cristiano Ronaldo Finally Got His Revenge Against Lionel Messi and Barcelona

Ronaldo was outraged at the referee, thinking he did not dive. He felt he should have had a penalty when he went down under pressure from Samuel Umtiti, and appeared to shove the referee in the back after he was shown the red card.

Rio Ferdinand mocks the decision to put Saka ahead of Ronaldo in the Player of the Year awards

Published

Football News: Bukayo Saka’s nomination for the Premier League Player of the Season award ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo has been described as “laughable” by Rio Ferdinand.

Saka, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarrod Bowen, Joao Cancelo, Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, Son Heung-min, and James Ward-Prowse are among the players nominated for the prize, according to the Premier League.

Despite scoring 18 goals and giving three assists in the league this season, Ronaldo was not included in the shortlist. In the same competition, Saka has 11 goals and six assists.

Arsenal will finish ahead of Manchester United in the table, despite Ronaldo’s involvement in more goals than his 20-year-old rival.

Since his return to English football, Ronaldo has won the Player of the Month award twice, in September and April. Despite this, Ferdinand is dissatisfied with the decision of the regulatory body.

“Is Saka in the Player of the Year nominees?” asked the former defender on his YouTube show Vibe with Five, who spent six years playing alongside Ronaldo. “

Saka would not have been in there as well as he has. No way would I have picked him over Ronaldo this season. Three or four of those men in there should be ahead of Ronaldo. He’s unlikely to win, but the list of nominees is ridiculous.

“He’ll take it as a slight, but these are the things that motivate him; ‘How dare you?’ he’ll think. If it’s based on statistics, he’ll say things like, ‘I’ve scored more goals than the majority of the players on that list except for Salah, so what are you talking about?’”

What does the Premier League website say?

Saka “has shown amazing character to bounce back” after missing the deciding penalty in the Euro 2020 final, according to the Premier League’s website.

The nominations for Young Player of the Season were also revealed by the Premier League. Alexander-Arnold, Saka, Phil Foden, Conor Gallagher, Tyrick Mitchell, Mason Mount, Aaron Ramsdale, and Declan Rice have all been named finalists.

They’ve also unveiled their five Manager of the Season contenders. Newcastle’s Eddie Howe, Brentford’s Thomas Frank, and Crystal Palace’s Patrick Vieira round up the shortlist, which includes Pep Guardiola of Manchester City and Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool.

The voting for all three categories is now closed, and the winners will be announced following Sunday’s final round of matches.
