Fabrizio Romano says Newcastle United will bid for Jesse Lingard in coming hours – Man United News And Transfer News

Newcastle United will make a new bid for Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard today, according to the world’s leading transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano.

Lingard has struggled to break into the United side under either former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or current boss Ralf Rangnick and has been widely tipped to leave in the winter window.

The Magpies’ new owners are desperate to strengthen this month in a bid to stay in the Premier League and the 29-year-old is one of their top priorities.

‘Newcastle will push again on Jesse Lingard deal in the next hours,’ Romano tweeted this morning.

‘Magpies board working hard to sign Jesse at least until the end of the season, then he’ll become a free agent.

‘Negotiations ongoing with both Manchester United and Lingard representatives.’

It would suit United for a permanent transfer to be negotiated so that they can recoup a fee rather than lose the player for nothing.

However, because of Newcastle’s precarious position at the foot of the table, it is unlikely that the player would agree to a permanent switch that could condemn him to Championship football next season.

The most likely scenario would therefore be a high loan fee, with the Magpies covering most or all of Lingard’s £75,000 per week wages.

Another spoke in the works for the deal to take place is West Ham’s ongoing interest in the player.

The Irons wanted to sign him in the summer after a brilliant loan spell last term, but they could not afford United’s asking price, reported to be some £25-£30 million.

Lingard may prefer to move back to finish what he started in London, although they are unlikely to be willing to pay the elevated loan fee that Newcastle’s owners are likely to sanction.

Fabrizio Romano Confirms Chelsea Star To Leave Club In The Summer

It seems that the time of Antonio Rudiger as a Chelsea player is fast approaching its closure. The Chelsea defender has made it clear to the club that he will become a free agent this summer after the expiry of his contract after this season. This has also been confirmed by noted transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

According to Fabrizio Romano on his Twitter account, Rudiger’s reason for leaving Stamford bridge after five years is the uncertainty surrounding the club after the sanctions imposed by the British government on the former owner Roman Abramovich. With the ownership issue still not resolved, Rudiger feels that this uncertainty surrounding the club is to his detriment, thus explaining his decision to leave the club.

The Latest Update Given By Fabrizio Romano On The Future Of This Chelsea Star

While he has been totally respectful about the current situation of the club, he feels that the time is right to look for a new challenge in his career, while still at his peak at 29 years old. This is the latest coming in from Fabrizio Romano.

With that being said, there are a lot of potential suitors waiting in the wings to acquire the services of the German international, keeping an eye on his situation at Chelsea. While clubs like Bayern Munich, PSG, and Man United have said to have inquired about his availability, it is Spanish giants Real Madrid that look most likely to acquire his services, with them being closest to finding an agreement with the defender.

While there has been no doubt that Rudiger has been having an exceptional season this year, being among the best defenders in the Premier League, it has come in a system where manager Thomas Tuchel has utilized him as part of a back three. However, his struggles ina a back-4 have been well documented, which has raised a few question marks over his perceived departure to the Spanish Capital.

Rudiger joined Chelsea in 2017, for a fee of £27m from the Italian side AS Roma. In his 5 years with the club, he has made 127 appearances, scoring 9 goals. He has won the FA Cup, the Europa League, the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

“Exciting Transfer Window Ahead if the Gunners Finish 4th”!

Arsenal News: Sky Sports Italia journalist and transfer specialist has predicted that Sunny days are ahead for the Gunners. But they would have to finish in the top four to make the most out of the transfer window.

The Gunners have had a resurgence under Mikel Arteta after finishing eighth in the Premier League last season. This has been down to the well thought transfers that Arsenal did last summer.

Arsenal signed Aaron Ramsdale, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Martin Odegaard, and Ben White, among other key players in the 2021 summer transfer window. These players have strengthened the team significantly and are regulars in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI.

Owing to this, the Gunners become one of the teams to beat in the 2021/22 season. As a result of their wonderful form, Mikel Arteta’s side is now one of the favourites to finish in the top four in the Premier League this season.

As per HITC, Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arsenal have a huge transfer window ahead of them. But most of the shining could depend on if the club qualifies for the UEFA Champions League at the end of the season.

The Italian transfer guru has claimed that Arsenal are currently holding off talks until they know where they would finish. If the Gunners are to finish fourth, they could have a “busy” summer transfer window.

Rio Ferdinand had Fabrizio Romano as his guest on his youtube show. The former Manchester United defender questioned Romano about which club would have the most exciting transfers in the summer. To this, the Italian journalist replied that he was eager to see what Arsenal do.

Fabrizio Romano said, “I’m really curious to see this transfer window for Arsenal. This summer, if they get Champions League football, it will be time for the next step. They will sign in attacking positions and even a new midfielder. This is why I say Arsenal.”

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has also stated the same in terms of signings. It is expected that Granit Xhaka would also be leaving the club in the summer. Hence we can expect 1-2 new central midfield signings.

Similarly, the Gunners could sign a couple of quality strikers in the summer. Arsenal are currently being linked to Jonathan David, Alexander Isak, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. But nothing has been finalized for now.

Edinson Cavani

Edinson Cavani: Fabrizio Romano confirms striker’s intentions – Man United News And Transfer News

Edinson Cavani’s plans have not changed and he reportedly will be leaving Manchester United once his contract has expired.

It seemed almost inevitable that the striker would leave in June 2022 after he signed a one-year extension at the end of last season.

Man United initially signed the Uruguayan international on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain.

Since his arrival, he has had a challenging time but that hasn’t stopped him from showing his goal-scoring talent.

He was given the number seven shirt last season and managed to create a massive impact in front of goal, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.

However, since then, he has had an injury-hit campaign where he has only managed to appear in 17 games, scoring two goals.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Cavani is set to leave in June on a free transfer and will be looking for new experiences.

The journalist confirmed in a tweet that the Spanish league will be his priority with South American clubs already making approaches.

He also mentions that River Plate, who are losing their striker to Manchester City this summer, have no chance of signing him.

Interest in Cavani is high with many La Liga clubs providing a huge interest during the January transfer window.

United fans will be wishing the best for the prolific striker who has failed to impress this season due to injuries.

However, he is back training with the first team and could prove to have a pivotal role in United’s chase to secure Champions League football.
