Chelsea vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips
The Blues are in far better form compared to Arsenal right now and they will be the favourites to pick up all three points here.
Furthermore, the home side have won their last two meetings against Arsenal and they will be full of confidence and momentum heading into this game.
The Gunners have picked up just one win from their last five Premier League outings and they will need a major slice of luck to grind out a positive result at Stamford Bridge this week.
The last six meetings between these two sides have produced a total of 17 goals and this one is unlikely to be any different.
Neither side like to sit back and defend deep and this should be an open contest with a fair few chances for either side.
The Chelsea midfielder has been in impressive form in recent weeks and he will fancy his chances of getting on the scoresheet against a vulnerable Arsenal defence.
The England international has scored four goals and he has picked up two assists in his last three matches across all competitions.
Bet on Chelsea to pick up the all-important win this week and the match to end with over 2.5 goals.

DCL – Gakpo – Turner feature in Arsenal news of the day

Matt Turner excited about move – DCL prefers move to Arsenal – Cody Gakpo makes transfer claim in Arsenal news of the day….
Incoming Arsenal signing Matt Turner says he is ‘really excited’ to work with Aaron Ramsdale.
Turner is set to officially join the Gunners this summer after the premier League giants made the decision early in the season to sign the American big man
Turner was named MLS goalkeeper of the year last season, has made 109 appearances for New England Revolution and has 16 caps for the USA 0 but he has admitted that he is really excited about the move to London.
He’ll face a steep climb to unseat incumbent goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who has been brilliant for the Gunners between the sticks this season – but has admitted that he is looking forward to working with the Englishman
‘I’m really excited to get to know Aaron Ramsdale,’ Turner told the Major League Soccer YouTube channel. ‘He has loads of experience throughout every top league in England and he’s had a great season.
‘Speaking to him and getting to know him and developing that working relationship will be great, and then challenging him to become better and allowing him to help me to become better too.’
IcFootballnews View…
This is a massive step up for the man and Arsenal fans will be hoping that he is a success, as it is a risk by Mikel Arteta to bring him to the club
He will not get much game time as Ramsdale is the clear number one – but he will be given the opportunity to shine and when that days comes – he needs to make sure that he does not mess up
Arsenal fans are expecting numerous signings in the transfer window – so it will be interesting to see what players follow Turner into the Emirates
But he will be welcomed by the fans that is for sure
Gakpo interested in move….
PSV ace Cody Gakpo has revealed he’s open to a transfer if he’s guaranteed regular football amid interest from Arsenal.
It is no secret in the media Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah could be heading out of Arsenal in the transfer after failing to impress like many had hoped and scored the goals that Mikel Arteta needed.
And that has led to many reports in the media that Arsenal are very much interested in a deal for Gakpo, who is fast becoming one of the most sought after young players in Europe right now
The winger, who mainly operates on the left, has hit 21 goals in all competitions for the Eindhoven club this season, and has also provided 16 assists and his performances is attracting all sorts of interest
Bayern Munich are also said to be keen on the Dutch star – who has recently broken into the national team – but Gakpo doesn’t want the risk of being sat on the bench of a foreign club ahead of November’s World Cup
Gakpo declared he’s yet to make a decision on his future this summer – but has now admitted that anything can happen in the coming transfer window – Gakpo told De Telegraaf: “Anything can happen this summer. I will now calmly compare all the options and see what is best for me. Staying another year is also an option.
“It would be a shame if I went somewhere where I wouldn’t get a [game] at all and I could miss the World Cup. I’ll keep that in mind.”
IcFootballnews View…
Look, if Arsenal do decide to make a move and make a serious offer to the Dutch giants, it would be very hard for Gakpo to turn down such a move to a club that is one of the biggest in Europe.
He is a real talent and a real source of goals – so he would definitely bring something to this Arsenal side – who have been lacking goals in recent weeks
But they will need to make sure that they get him for the right amount of money guys
DCL prefers Arsenal move –
Noel Whelan believes Everton star Dominic Calvert-Lewin will still prefer a move to Arsenal – even though they have not made a move yet
There is no doubt in the media that Mikel Arteta will be handed some funds in order to sign a striker that will solve all their problems, and that can score the goals that will take them back to the top
That has led to all sorts of speculation that Arsenal are ready to pay the big money and bring Calvert-Lewin to the Emirates – despite the very poor season that he has had with the relegation threatened Everton.
But despite the fact that Arsenal have switched their attentions to other potential targets in the summer – Whelan has come out and claimed that Calvert-Lewin is prepared to make a move to the Emirates if they firm up their interest.
He tells Football Insider: “I still believe he would suit Arsenal more than Newcastle.
“But at the same time, if Newcastle are the side stepping up the talks – then that onus has just been put on Arsenal and Mikel Arteta to react.
“They’re trying to get the business done early and get the representatives sat down to try and reach a deal.
“I think Calvert-Lewin will probably be hoping Arsenal come in. The window isn’t even open yet, so this is one I can see going on all summer.”

Look, we all believe that Lampard does want to keep hold of Calvert-Lewin – he is a brilliantly gifted striker.
But will the EVERTON board reject an offer of £80 million if it came in? We do not think so
Arsenal are a massive club that just need a couple of big signings that will send a statement to the rest of the Premier League – who wouldnt want to join them
But DCL is not worth £80 million – that is silly money

Arsenal told if they will be signing Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling has been tipped to stay at Man City and snub Arsenal’s advances – the Gunners board have been told
Sterling has been a massive part of the success that Pep Guardiola has enjoyed at Man City over the past few seasons and really has developed into a world class finisher
However – this season ha not gone to plan like he had hoped as he has had to fight off Phil Foden and Jack Grealish to get a start in that Man City squad – which has left him very unhappy with the game time he has received
Add that to the fact that Man City have signed Erling Haaland – it will mean that Sterling will struggle for game time again next season and that has led to speculation suggesting that Arsenal are ready to make a move
Mikel Arteta knows the player very well from his time at the Manchester club and if you believe all the reports – the Gunners are ready to hand the Englishman a massive contract to make the move to London.
However, amid all the speculation Steve McManaman reckons Sterling won’t want to leave City for Arsenal if the Gunners aren’t in the Champions League next season McManaman told Horseracing.net: “I can’t see Raheem going to Arsenal if they’re not in the Champions League and personally I believe he should stay at Manchester City.
“He’s brilliant at Manchester City, even though admittedly Pep Guardiola likes to chop and change.”
IcFootballnews View..
If Arsenal do not get into that Champions League spt for next season – then they will have a very hard time trying to get big players like Sterling to sign
Yes they have an exciting team and yes they are one of the biggest clubs on the planet – but that means nothing if they are not winning trophies and playing in the Champions League – that is what the best players want
If Sterling joins Arsenal – it will be for money – and that is what Arsenal do not want to do – sign players that are there for the big cheques

Fans have been told Belgian midfielder Lokonga to stay at Arsenal

Albert Sambi Lokonga’s brother has ruled out a transfer move away from Arsenal for the midfielder.
The Belgium international midfielder moved to Emirates Stadium last summer in a £15.75m deal from Anderlecht as he was Viewed as one of his country’s brightest prospects.
He quickly became a regular in the Arsenal squad too -putting in some solid performances – but his game-time quickly began to wane and he has now made just 24 appearances in all competitions this season
That has led to suggestions that Arsenal are open to letting the player leave the club on-loan in the transfer window or on a permanent basis if the right offer arrives – as Mikel Arteta needs to revamp his squad
However – it seems that he is not going nowhere after his brother come out and revealed that Lokonga will be staying at the Emirates – Paul-José M’Poku, told RTBF: “It’s (a transfer) out of the question, at least for him.
“He is very well integrated into the club and the city, he is happy, although he hopes to play more next season, and his potential would deserve it.
“And there will be European games. I talked to him on the phone on Monday; he was disappointed because, with the defeat in Newcastle, the Champions League has moved away, but there will be the Europa League, and he is positive about his season.”
He added: “We would have signed with both hands for a first season with 33% of playing time. And Albert is improving every day, especially in training.
“But the competition is tough in the team, with boys like Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka or Mohamed Elneny, and the coach must respect a certain hierarchy.
“He has so much talent; sometimes it seems so easy for him that maybe the coach expects more from him?
“He shouldn’t rest on his abilities. And maybe he needs to show more in training. I’m not worried, and neither is he.”

Playing for Arsenal must be like a dream for the young man and he may just need time to get used to the Premier League – if the Gunners are prepared to give him that – he could turn into a very good signing
