Arteta has asked the board to go out and sign Nkunku

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly told the board that he would like RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku signed during the summer transfer window
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 27 goals and registering 13 assists in all appearances in all competitions.
Nkunku managed seven goals and two assists in six appearances in the group stages of this season’s Champions League, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future.
Arsenal are believed to be interested in the Frenchman, who is capable of operating in a number of different positions in the final third of the field, as Mikel Arteta looks to add some more quality to his squad
The Spaniard has not been impressed with many of his star players this season, and it is widely believed that he will look to overhaul the squad in the transfer window.
But it has been believed that Man United are also very much interested in trying to get a transfer deal done for Nkunku and they are ready tp pay that £60 million asking price that RB have placed on his head
But it has been reported in the media today that Arteta has told the board that he would like Arsenal to beat Man United to the services of Nkunku, and would like him as part of his summer shake-up.

If Arsenal show interest, if the board make a big enough offer and Nkunku says that he wants to leave, we are sure that RB will let him leave
Arsenal are a club that need to be revamped in the summer, Mikel Arteta needs the backing from the board to bring in players that will close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool
Will Nkunku do that? We do not know but he is a very gifted player that has a bright future in the game

Barca will let Arsenal sign Depay for just £17M

It has been claimed that Barcelona will allow Memphis Depay to join a club like Arsenal for just £17M this summer
Barcelona were in shambles after Lionel Messi left the club, as they were depended heavily on him for goals and as soon as the player left the club, there was a void and a lack of goals.
Dutchman Memphis Depay was brought in to fill in the space left behind by the Argentine but he was not consistent enough in front of the goal and injuries have also messed up his time with the club.
That has led to speculation in the media that Barcelona boss Xavi is now open to the idea of letting the attacker leave in the transfer window, and the Premier League is a place that he could come back too.
Arsenal are looking to strengthen in attack after losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are likely to leave as free agents. and they have been linked with a shock transfer move
Now – Spanish publication Sport have claimed that Barcelona will allow him to leave and join a club like Arsenal – should the Gunners board pay just £17 million for the Dutchman
The reports claims that Barcelona are looking to balance their books and will look to get a number of fringe players out the club
IcFootballnews view…
Depay was signed by the Spanish giants who believed that he had the ability to score goals on a regular basis for the club – they were wrong. Man United signed in in belief that he would score goals for the club – they were wrong
So if Arsenal believe that the possible signing of Depay will help them score more goals and close the gap on both Liverpool and Man City – they are wrong
Depay is a player that does well in the French League or the Dutch League but when he makes that step up to the Premier League or Spanish League – he cannot cope
The Gunners will need to add strikers to the attack in the summer, Depay is not the man for that

Edu hold talks with Osimhen about Arsenal move

Arsenal have begun talks to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to the latest reports in the media today
It is no secret that despite all the attacking quality that Mikel Arteta currently has in his squad, Arsenal are lacking a proven striker that will bang in the goals on a regular basis
Alexandre Lacazette has been putting in the impressive performances, that is true, but the Frenchman will never be, and never has been, a striker that is capable of netting 30-goals a season.
That means that Mikel Arteta will need to delve into that transfer kitty and add a striker to the squad, which has led to reports in the media which have claimed that Osimhen is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.
Recent reports in the media have claimed that the Napoli forward wants a move to the Emirates this summer, as it is his dream to play for the Arsenal – but a move wont come cheap for the club
It has been claimed that Napoli will demand a fee over £69 million for the striker – but that is not stopping Arsenal and GOAL have claimed that the Gunners have already started making their moves for the player
They claim Arsenal’s technical director Edu has held talks with the striker’s agent in London – but believe that the fee will be an issue as Napoli are notoriously difficult to agree terms with
Napoli signed Osimhen from Lille in a €81.3 million (£69.5m) deal in 2020 and it’s understood that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis would want a significantly higher fee.

There has been so many players linked with a move to the Emirates, and there have been some top strikers linked with a move to the club
But why not make a move for a player that is already proven in the Premier League rather than sign a striker that would need time to adapt to the pace – quality and toughness of the English game?
He surely isnt worth more than what Napoli paid for him right?

Dusan Vlahovic should have stayed with Fiorentina, Commisso

Football News: Dusan Vlahovic “ruined” Fiorentina, according to president Rocco Commisso, after he “promised” to prolong his contract but instead chose to join Juventus.
The 22-year-old joined the Old Lady in January for almost €70 million, making him their second most expensive player behind Cristiano Ronaldo. Vlahovic is said to have turned down offers from Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid in order to join Juventus.
Vlahovic scored 20 goals in 24 games for Fiorentina in all competitions during the first half of the season. He signed a contract with La Viola that would have kept him with club till 2026. Despite supposedly agreeing to terms with Fiorentina, Vlahovic chose Juventus instead.
This infuriated Commisso, who believed Vlahovic should have stayed at Fiorentina rather than leaving. He also said that they turned down an offer from Arsenal to replace top scorer Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, who left to Barcelona.

“I was in a bad condition,” he told La Gazetta dello Sport, “but things are going better thanks to the doctors and my family. I made a mistake by returning to Italy the first time; I became quite unwell, but I wanted to make Vlahovic think.
“Unfortunately, it didn’t help much. What is the current state of the negotiations for a renewal? When I was here, they went to the bathroom every half hour during the matches, then shot eight net a year, with three million in commission and a percentage from both us and the buying team at the time of the player’s sale.“
“As a result, I granted another centre the authority to move forward. We hadn’t taken anyone in September when the individual who ruined us agreed to renew.
We wanted two strikers to replace him, Commisso

“When we got Piatek and then sought Cabral, he realised we were going to bench him.”
“I don’t know how long they talked to Juventus, but after they turned down Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Arsenal, Juventus shut down the operation in a week.”
“If we kept Vlahovic, we would have done even better than Juventus, which is why he went. At the very least, we made a substantial profit. On Saturday, seeing him on the bench was unusual.”
Vlahovic has struggled to find his feet in Turin, scoring nine goals in 21 appearances. The Serbian started well, but his form has deteriorated in recent weeks.
In the meantime, AC Milan locked up the Serie A title, capping off a disastrous season for Massimiliano Allegri’s team. He was picked as a substitute in Juventus’ 2-0 final-day defeat at Fiorentina on Sunday.
